"The rebellion is not here anymore, it's flown away. It's everywhere now."

The fact that it was supposed to be 4 additional seasons and they crammed it into one, and it STILL turning out fantastic is a testament to how good the writing is.

I actually liked that Andor did not find his sister. Especially knowing what happens in Rogue One. He dies for something bigger than himself. Something he won’t ever see

He loves this show so much that he's describing the entire plot, point by point. I don't think I've ever seen him this animated about something. Feels validating.

The worst part about Andor is that I don't think Disney will learn the right lessons from it. Andor finally had me excited to see Star Wars again. Every week I was looking forward to it. I miss that about Star Wars.

“Calm. Kindness. Kinship. Love. I’ve given up all chance at inner peace. I’ve made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there’s only one conclusion, I’m damned for what I do. My anger, my ego, my unwillingness to yield, my eagerness to fight, they’ve set me on a path from which there is no escape. I yearned to be a savior against injustice without contemplating the cost and by the time I looked down there was no longer any ground beneath my feet.

What is my sacrifice?

I’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I burn my decency for someone else’s future. I burn my life to make a sunrise that I know I’ll never see. And the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror or an audience or the light of gratitude.

So what do I sacrifice?

Everything!”

"I burn my life to make a sunrise I know I will never see." The writing and cast are beautiful and I weep tears of artistic satisfaction.

Andor is the TV show equivalent of "let him cook". Even if the first few episodes don't grip your attention straight away, they're always building to something.

It's being called "The Death Star Saga".

Andor Season 1, Andor Season 2, Rogue One, and A New Hope.

Andor turned Mon Mothma from an important background figure in the Rebellion to one of my favorite characters. She's so complex and badass

Cassian not finding his sister is beautiful and tragic mainly because it just goes to show how much Cassian pushed his wants and needs to the side for the rebellion. He never completed his life, couldn’t find his sister that he felt like he abandoned (when he didn’t), he couldn’t love and build a life with the woman he loved, and he couldn’t spend the last couple of years watching his foster mother live in comfort. Cassian is just like Luthen and many others in that regard, the rebellion for a better tomorrow hijacked their whole lives. Genuinely love this show, and it sparked my interest in the franchise again.

Star Wars Theory: You disgust me

Andor Fans: You're too late, Andor has flown away. It's everywhere now. There is a whole fandom waiting to disgust you now.

0:00 qui gon jinn starts talking

People forget that the FIRST MOVIE has Darth Vader strangling people to death, Luke's family gets burned alive in their home, and the Death Star completely destroys an entire planet killing billions of people. Star Wars has always been dark

That Title could mean only one thing... Andor

The detention center was an amazing story arc

Luthens assistant is such an underrated character. I like how at the start shes just in the background and by the end shes running the whole operation.

Syril: "YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME"

Cassian: "I dont even know who you are"

The thing I love most about Andor was how it made the Empire (especially the ISB) feel like a legitimate threat. Season 2 especially doubles down on this and it’s so refreshing to see.

One of the biggest props I can give this show is that they took STAR WARS of all properties and made a show where the idea of a single blaster firing fills me with dread. The build up to Ghorman massacre had me holding my breath practically wincing waiting for it to start, and my heart was in my stomach watching it all go down. Absolutely phenomenal story telling
