Minor thing for the thumbnail, I thought this was for the game Factory Town, which I was really confused about, since that game came out years ago. May need to flip to one of the other thumbnails

I appreciate you're trying to go fast and not have a lot of "dead air" but dang, take a moment and use your eyes. This is how we get extreme hand holding in games. :)

So... Ummm... I am not finished yet, but I hope you notice at some point that researchers have a second management that creates the research packs. If you just keep wood and stone in there, they will be able to make their own.

If you chop the bush that has flowers you'll unlock the ability to make clay pots and the flowery bush will go into your inventory, so you can place the plant into the pot.

There is something like this, a mod minecolonies for a minecraft. I loved that mod but felt it could be made better or be it own game, so I'm really interested with what there's in this gme.

I don't know if this is normal, but this is the 3rd Irishman whose opinions I tend to pay attention to who enjoys this State of Decay style of managing people/settlements, including DDRJake and my family friend, and basically all of Germany. As an American its so interesting to observe.
Going to have to give this Demo a try, see how it compares to a Manor Lords or Colony

He built a plot IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE, which is going to become his woodcutter plot, which will be USELESS since there are no trees inside the plot area. Hmmm... that was dumb. Should have put it IN THE WOODS, then clear enough room to place your tool shed on it afterwards. More trees = more wood. No trees = no wood.
Remember, everyone, put your plots in a spot where the work is, because you can't always move the work to the plot. Don't build your inventor plot outdoors, for instance. And don't build your woodcutter plot out in an open field because it needs TREES to work.

Good grief, the new worker was defaulted to tree cutting, the other one was already on rocks. They do have their own individual job assignments, they were already set to what you wanted, and you screwed it up. 🤣
