Thank's Nookrium for once again helping me decide whether or not to buy a game. I have watched loads of other videos, but none of them have really helped me to come to a decision. Most people just go through things far too fast, and I can't follow what is going on, so it is nice and refreshing for you to be be playing this with complete beginner's in mind.

This has become my favorite colony sim overall in the last while. Building just is so fulfilling in this game. Everything looks great, and it's super satisfying undertaking a big building project and watching it come together.

Oh wow this really is a 3D Rimworld. I like the fact it’s still its own thing with its art style, levels of terrain, character editor.  I have to check this out

These types of games have always been something I enjoy watching more than playing. I'm just not great at the set up and (micro)management aspects. It's the same with the RTS genre. Still, fun to watch though.

I buld multiple doors and fight through the door till almost destroyed then fall back to the next door,. Was 3 doors in a row, then several in a spiral, now reconfiguring since they brake wall not just doors now. The whole time 90%of the others are firing arrows, with one melee back up as population increases. rarely anyone dies, and mainly my archers get hurt from other archers. The melee at the door only gets hurt if there is a spear guy behind the one hitting the door, or if I don't move my melee before the door breaks. I learned always fight thru the door. Wait till guy hits door then have melee attack enemy. Rarely pull agro from door.

I irks me that it's supposedly a medieval theme game but the game goes out of its way to not have genders roles or even distinguish characters as man or woman or familial/clan ties when medieval societies were built around those things.
