A new hand touches the brick.

"How do the imperial guard stay alive?". Thats the neat part, they don't.

13:13 I heard her ask "how do they survive" and I just laughed

‘Why don’t you just kill the Emperor. He’s just sitting there. He can’t do anything.’

Oh, sweet summer child.

Something you need to make note of is that any rules Bricky mentions are quite outdated. This video was made at the tail end of 8th Edition; 11th Edition launches next month.

A new brick touches the hand

15:05 Their home planet is so scary that they had 2 big invasions from Chaos and Tyranids, but they never knew about it because the planet ate invaders faster

My beautiful queen,  has now entered the huge tunnel of warhammer lore. Hope you find your way back. Phenomenal video and reaction as always mykora.  Keep being amazing :_koraHeart:

A new hand touches the brick

11:20 The Emperor’s whole thing when he came to power was “get rid of all religion and believe in the facts of science” after he died, the entire empire did a complete 180 and worshipped him as a god. Literally, THE ONE THING he didn’t want them to do

Hi kora welcome to the grim darkness of the future

9:38 Anyone short of being a named character with plot armor can even come close to the outer walls of his innermost chamber. His psychic presence alone brings people to their knees and makes them vomit violently, and add to the fact that hes guarded by THE MOST loyal guardians he ever CREATED, that all generally have primarch-level potential, and you kinda realize why hes still around.

9:35 it took guilliman, yknow, the ONLY LIVING PRIMARCH, like a year just to get to earth with the entire imperium fleet at his side during the Terran crusade, and then had to deal with the emperors bodyguards, the Custodies, being hesitant to even let him talk to the emperor. The man ain’t dying by someone else’s hand anytime soon (except Horus but that don’t count)

19:40 the man knows pain. He knows the path!

47:50
This line is referring to a bit of lore that is reflected on the tabletop: The psychedelic drug cocktail running through an Eversor's veins becomes highly volatile if improperly mixed. As long as their heart is beating, everything is fine. The moment they die, the drugs mix and erupt in a nuclear-scale explosion.

Kaldor Draigo is the most mary sue of the mary sues in all of Warhammer. Then he also ended up a lot more famous for it due to a series called "Emperor Text to Speech", so he ended up as the focus of a large number of very popular memes.

09:26
What's stopping someone from just killing the emperor? Well you see he has this little thing called "The Imperium of Man" protecting him. That and Earth (or Terra as it's known in 40k) is easily one of the most fortified planets in the galaxy. Most other factions realise it would be suicide to try and attack it.

26:14 My absolute favorite quote related to the Adeptus Mechanicus (maybe even the entirety of WH40k) is this one:
"From the moment I understood the weakness of my flesh, it disgusted me. I craved the strength and certainty of steel. I aspired to the purity of the Blessed Machine. Your kind cling to your flesh, as though it will not decay and fail you. One day the crude biomass you call a temple will wither, and you will beg my kind to save you. But I am already saved, for the Machine is immortal… Even in death I serve the Omnissiah." - Magos Dominus Reditus
I think this quote perfectly sums up the Adeptus Mechanicus.

there wasn't even word about my favorite part of imperium and that is Death Korps of Kreig (DKoK)

The Death Korps of Krieg (DKoK) are famously grim and fatalistic, largely functioning as faceless, numbered clone-soldiers. Because of this, unique or personal nicknames are highly uncommon and usually reserved for heroic veterans or survivors of brutal campaigns.

Here are the most notable nicknames and slang categories for Kriegsmen:

Community Lore & Fanon Nicknames
Spades: Nicknames given to veteran shovel-masters (e.g., soldiers who have sliced multiple enemy throats with a single swing).
Fumes: Slang for soldiers known for reckless, explosive assaults on enemy armor.
Walk-a-lots (Horseless): A derogatory but affectionate term for Death Riders who lose their mounts in combat and are forced to march.
The Skulls: A moniker given to the elite veteran vanguard of certain Krieg regiments.
The Dead Boys / Ghost Division: A common title used by allied Imperial regiments and enemy forces when referring to the faceless, gas-masked ranks of Krieg.

Nicknames for Wargear & Vehicles
The Holy Spade: The legendary Krieg entrenching tool is often idolized or used as an improvised weapon of last resort.
Höllenmaschine: A Krieg slang translation (meaning "Infernal Machine") often used by Krieg crews for the Hellhound flame tank.
Burning Lance: A modified, extended-range flamer variant uniquely favored by Krieg Death Riders.

Standard "Naming" Convention
Unlike regular Imperial Guard regiments, Kriegers are normally only identified by letters and birth-vat serial numbers (e.g., Soldier T46-0817). Veterans occasionally adopt parts of their sequence (like "Sixes" or "Delta") as functional nicknames.

"TEN FEET?! I would probably climb him like a tree."
If he didn't psychicly disintegrate you first just for looking at his face.
