Um, you misunderstood. Horus, not the Emperor, is the one who killed Sangunius.

If nobody has said it yet: NONE of the Chaos Gods artwork is canon. Nobody knows what they look like because they don't have physical forms AS WE KNOW THEM AS. They will appear to the ones they want to corrupt in various ways, but no actual physical descriptions exist. All that amazing artwork of them is fan art.

Damn. Yet another person cuts the reaction short before Bricky gives his 40k novel recommendations.

A correction, if you are a follower of Khorne and someone comes to kill you, he will NOT protect you, as he presides over honor, courage, and martial skill. If he stepped in to protect you in that situation, it would go against the very essence of his being.

Well, some bad news about Fulgrim, he might be the furthest fallen of the primarchs and he specifically fell to Slanesh in a way (demonblade possession, messy stuff, deeper lore). To try and stay as family friendly as possible he'd show you the best and worst time of your life at the same time. Following that the Khan would be fine though, he stayed loyal and is generally known for being noble, or about as much as someone can be in the 40k universe.
