Sargeras: You Couldn't Live with Your Own Failure, Where Did that Bring You? Back to Me

"We're already too late...this entire planet must be purged" - Sargeras probably

"no way we would just head down to the pub with Sargeras because we're friends" ... Blizz writing staff sweats nervously

Honestly at this point I WANT the Legion to win. Go go gadget Sargeras, wipe this narrative slate clean

Sargerasidan: "YOU WERE MOSTLY PREPARED"

"Somehow, Sargaras has returned." - Magni, probably?

Bro is easily redeemed by the power of friendship, just watch

I can't wait for Blizzard to ruin Sargeras too

I just wish we would wake up in Nyalotha and retcon everything from Shadowlands onwards.

Surprised y'all didn't bring up how the staff of sargeras lore in legion makes it clear sargeras actually fell in love with azeroth and no longer wished to kill her, which is why during the raid hes just hovering above her till he stabs her as we try to drag him away, a "I will atleast free her from her binds" Which at the time we thought was more of a "If I can't have her no one can" Strike out, but if it was aimed at the manifold to free azeroth?

I just hope he mentions the words “the Burning Crusade” in his final moments lol

Save us, Sargeras.

Sargeras has been locked up at the Seat of the Pantheon, far away from his Fel Power that made him so strong. Most likely, the effects of the fel magic will wear off, and he'll become sort of like his old titan self without all the fel buffs. Just a theory.

Its good to be a Warlock in this expansion.

Sargeras is the next “smash in case of emergency” button character to salvage this story.

Ever since I was a teen and got my hands on the novel trilogy, I’ve been completely enthralled by the war of the ancients. I’ve found it to be one of the most compelling bits of lore outside of Arthas

He's going to die. How do you establish how your new big bad is a true threat? You have them kill your last big bad.

-Sargeras stabs Xal'aroth
-Smugly turns to the Pantheon
-Aman'thul: Don't say it...
-Sargeras: Told you so...
-They all laugh and the cinematic freezes
-Wow's theme song plays and credits roll
-Written and Directed by Chris Metzen
-Camera pulls back to a TV screen and Arthas with a remote in his hand on The Frozen Couch
-Illidan is there too wrapped in a bandage around his chest watching with him, post TFT ending
-Warcraft 4 gets teased as a divergent timeline.

4:25 Small point: It would be "The People Vs Sargeras"

Sargeras found the cosmos "infected" and decided to purge the planets he felt might be possibly corrupted by the Void sooner or later... kind of like Arthas with Stratholme but on a cosmic scale. Queue the George Lucas quote, "Again, it's like poetry, sort of. They rhyme."
