I feel like the shimmering flats should count as one of these. It's so distinct from the rest of thousand needles it might as well be a new zone.

Lorewise the Blasted Lands is just a subzone of the Swamp of Sorrows (the Black Morass) and the Burning Steppes is just a subzone of the Redridge Mountains.

I believe the Warsong Lumber camp was originally made by Grom as a quest on Warcraft 3 when on 1 mission you needed to gather 10,000 trees.

I miss seeing these old Alliance / Horde buildings which look straight out of Warcraft 3 so you can recognise Bases and base expansions...

I love the little troll camp in the south(?) of Desolace. Feels like an oasis after wandering through that grey ass zone for way too long.
