My most vivid experience in classic was being in Darnassus and seeing a max level mage with raid gear. I walked up to them and told them how cool they looked, and they asked me "do you want a free enchantment on your weapon?" I had no idea what he meant because I was only like 9 yrs old lol I said yes, and he walked me through the process of putting my weapon in the non trade slot, and I got a fiery and icy enchantment on my dual wield weapons. I was so hyped, I thought it was so cool you could do that

One vivid memory I have from vanilla is when my friend wanted to take me to Ironforge. He had a head start on me in the game, so I took to him for advice a lot of the time. So we get in the Deep Run Tram from Stormwinds side, and we just miss one of the trams taking off. He tells me, WITH CONFIDENCE, we can just run there, it won't take that long. We ran the entire length of the Deeprun Tram and as we're doing so, we see the tram pass over us MULTIPLE times lol. It was a long run, but we were able to just catch up and chat the entire time. Just one of the many core memories this game has given me over 20 years ago

I was running around Elwyn forest at night, saw the glow from Blackrock Mountain and felt like Gandalf in Gondor looking towards Mount Doom.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in. WoW Addiction Forever.

One of my most vivid memories of vanilla was when a higher level person helped me with a quest, and afterwards randomly gave me 5g. I didn’t really know much about professions so getting gold was a grind. I was like “wow thanks!” They said “just pay it forward.”

The reason we all remember the fog is the lack of current graphics cards lol. There was a limit to the vision of objects in the distance, hence the 'fog' we remember. Anyway, I am interested in the RP megarealm in Forever.  See you all in Azeroth.

Core memory - Questing for your druid forms. Nothing was given, everything was earned.

They say 'you can never go back' but that won't stop me from trying.

Campfires are a HUGE W. Me and this guy were just killing gnoll packs in Westfall, and sitting at the campfire talking in between pulls. Straight magical, reminded me of what MMORPGs used to feel like back in the mid 2000s.

My Paladin name in Vanilla was Who, raid warning in middle of your screen "WHO IS THE BOMB" while doing MC still puts a smile to my face even today.

RiP Havengames. I remember watching his content when it was current until his unfortunate last video. Heartbreaking. RiP and appreciate the mention Bellular

I remember not knowing about the tram and literally walking to Ironforge.
So many deaths.

After playing for three hours.. it's incredible what a new lighting system and water can do to an old game. They barely touched the textures. It is just incredible

My most vivid memory was question in Stranglethorn around level 35 on my hunter. I killed some Panther and an epic level 37 bow dropped. I never had an epic before so I jumped off the game and ran to the housephone to call my best friend and shouted "I GOT AN EPIC!!!!!"

As a veteran that came back from a 5 years hiatus, i can say I'm very very surprised on how amazing the graphics are. If computers had the resources back then, this is what it would feel to go to Azeroth

It was watching my friend fall from one of the Thousand Needles swing bridges, having enough time to type 'lol' and hearing his male undead laugh fade off into the distance before he died hitting the ground.

Speaking of pictures from the past. I recently found an old screenshot of my hunter standing beside a frost-trapped t-rex in un'goro crater. I thought it would just freeze its feet...no it froze the whole damn thing. It was awesome to see this giant ice block in the middle of my screen.

Being excited because the the light actually comes from the direction of the sun is crazy. So the game finally caught up to 2010 standards.

No man steps in the same river twice, for it is not the same river and he is not the same man... nevertheless I will enjoy crossing Forever's span.

So many memories... I was 32 when I started playing. I ran into a 20 year old kid playing a Dwarf Hunter on Teldrassil who helped me do the Wetlands run. I've watched him grow up all these years, I got an honorary little brother. Then, I got an honorary older brother who I still run with today. Azeroth is the people we meet along the journey.
