Xalatath is definitely keeping Alleria alive for something. She could have killed Alleria 100 times but now but just won't. She's pushing her towards some kind of choice.

Xalatath mocks Alleria > Alleria angry > Xalatath show off shiny toy > Alleria breaks toy > Xalatath go fix toy > Alleria play hide and seek with Xalatath > Xalatath show up and become friend > Fight big nothing > break up > Xalatath mock Alleria (repeat)

This lore video actually made TWW story make a hell of a lot more sense and not feel so disconnected.
Every WoW player (new or old) should watch this, as it sets up Midnight so well without getting pulled in 5 different and confusing directions.

There's no doubt in my mind that this is the best video ever made by Bellular. It's so in depth that one has to rewind and really pay attention to fully grasp every detail. The story of Xal'atath is similarly fantastic. Absolutely fascinating from start to finish.

Not gonna lie, I feel a lot better now about the whole goblin bit of this expansion. I was quick to assume that Blizzard was just pulling a wild card to get the goblins involved without actually looking into it. Knowing that she needed their help and they had the power to repair the thing makes more sense! Thanks for the lore!

I lowkey fanfic imagine xal'atath using the sunwell to bring ... him ... back to life. Similarly to how ... he ... used his fathers urn to harbor the ashes of a powerful member of the damned, then brought them to the sunwell to be brought back to life. No lore says his soul needs to be there. There was just a ghost and ashes in the urn after all. And he got a transformative resurrection via the sunwell.

What's super nice about this video is you can see all of this yourself by going to lorewalker Cho, and the Tome of History (catch up campaign) right next to him in the main cities and Dorn. You'll also level to max and be ready for midnight. A few runs of timewalking and your free cloak, you'll be geared enough to survive a few levels

i would love a follow up video off what happens in midnight. i didn't realise just how intertwined she was/is with a lot of the characters etc that i love. Neltharion, N'zoth, Galakrond. it's a lot easier to understand her story when it is compressed into a story like this over questing and trying to piece it all together over the years of playing. To she is a True Neutral character that is chaotic doing what she can the survive, most people see her as a villain, i see her as one of the greatest survivors in Warcraft lore.

Sometimes when I listen to Bellular, I really question if I ever played the same Game and how I missed one important quest/story ...

That was some high quality story telling, thank you my man, keep it up

Does anyone else find it strange how at odds the overarching storyline is with the actual gameplay quests we find ourselves doing?

Like we will likely return to Silvermoon to band together with Azeroth's greatest heroes to fight a literal reality-defining battle against the forces of darkness, once again desperately fighting against the demise of everything as we know it

Oh, but while you're there, Tamara just moved into a new house in the trade quarter and she wants to make a rug. Do you think you can go get 10 bear asses for her, if you have the time?

It's interesting that Dimensius and Xalatath are like Galactus and  Silver Surfer (Marvel) looking for worlds to devour.

Just what I needed to fall sleep tonight

Man, your lore videos are top notch !!

Thank you so much for making these story videos I love them

Thank you for making this video and all the other ones that you do. You are my top wow go to guy. Have been for years. Keep up the great work (you and your team).

This is probably my favorite WOW Lore video so far. I really like how it covers all of the major Epic events in the lore, while tying it all back to Xal'atath. So good!

This is reminding me a little bit of what they tried to do with the Big Bad of Shadowlands except... I am actually remembering a lot of the stuff youre talking about so it does make just a bit more sense. But still feels like theyre connecting the dots after the fact and this was not always intended.

Thanks for catching me up on the uh… DECADE I have missed since my PC gave up

Wonderful video/movie to catch up on the lore for a returning player. Thanks.
