What's always funny to me is that Chuckles was never alive. He was a joke in the first episode that Gideon had killed a clown before the story started

20:20 lots of people roleplay kenku as parrots with bad memory.
but their own racial traits describe them as having super natural memory.
say they hear some words spoken in voice 1, they can use that voice to speak words they have heard elsewhere and never from voice 1.
they can even perfectly replicate the writing style and signature of others.

Kremy- warlock
Gideon- fighter
Gricko- druid
Torbek- rogue
Frosty- sorcerer

37:15 From what I remember Derek (Frosty) couldn't attend a session or two so Andy (Torbek) came in to substitute for him. Then several episodes later Andy rejoined the campaign, permanently this time. That's why Torbek suddenly shows up and replaces Frosty for a bit, disappears for a while, and then comes back.

Ummm, Btw, Torbeks parter is a Cardboard cutout that hates him :D.

We've done it boys/girls, we have converted PiPi to the side of dice rolling. Next will be the obsessive collecting of various bags of dice

Pipi's voice and personality would be a welcome addition to any adventuring party

Trust me, the only way to truly understand the story is to watch the actual campaign, you can get a general idea by the shorts but it is a real adventure to witness the whole thing start to finish

Players and characters in Witchlight / Uprooted:

Nikkie = DM / Peggy
Mikey = Gricko / DM
Derek = Frosty / Bitsy
Richie = Kremy / Grumley
Mace = Gideon / Jean Claude
Andy = Torbek / Booker
Kelsey =  n/a  / Hazel

Kremy is a Lizardfolk Warlord, Morning Frost is a tabaxi sorcerer, Gricko is a Goblin Druid, Gideon is a Genasi Fighter, Torbeck is a BugBear rouge who becomes a blood Hunter

4:48 They're used in more places than just cars. I remember restaurants used to have them available

In this context a fey carnival dosent mean a carnival rhat takes place in Faerun, they mean a carnival that takes place in The Feywild.

The Feywild is an alternate dimension that has the exact same layout as the normal world except way more whimsical. Its where the Fey live, like fairies and redcaps and shit. Lots a wacky shit happens there

4:50 Unironically yes, magi-tech cars and even TRAINS exist in Avantris, and given the timeline they have existed for atleast 500ish years, and then they just didn't advance tecnology more idk Avantris tech isn't very clear

Overlall Avantris is really set in the equivalent of mid-late 1800's except that tecnology didn't spread nearly as far, wich makes sense since none of it's 12 continents have any actual land that conects them to any other and how there's world ending threats every century

There's an Abridged playlist on their official channel that's really good that's good about adding context for people watching to catch up

24:01 So here are the roles for each character; Frosty = Sorcerer, Gricko = Druid, Kremey = Warlock, Gideon = Fighter, and Torbek = Blood Hunter

I see Pipi watching one of my favorites. Next 47 minutes will be fun.

2:41. Okay to be fair curse of strahd is one of the campaigns that rolling for showing makes sense for.

Congratulations on finally playing D&D!

Curse of Strahd is a classic campaign for D&D, whichever edition you're playing.

19:59 rip desk chan

Apparently, Kremy got cursed and all he could think about was unicorns
