A long time ago, Valheims team released a statistics sheet that stated that the thing that has killed the most players is not a mob, it is in fact trees. I swear they nerfed tree damage so you don't accidentally get rolled over as often.

Bringing a frost weapon and no fire arrows to the boss that is immune to frost and is weak to fire was certainly a choice.

Back in my day, I had to sail into the wind both ways in storm and while being assaulted by serpents. You youngins have it easy these days

@Geseth 10 days ago

34:22 - same here! I absolutely love sailing, which is why I often use that mechanic to transport iron, silver, black metal and other things.

Frostner is just broken, lol. The spirit damage obliterates undead, the freeze wrecks everything else. Absolutely worth upgrading to max, I love mine

For those who dont know, this works on every boss in the game: as the boss is spawning into the world, position yourself to get a hit in on the boss as the particles coalesce. You can actually get a sneak attack on the boss within the first few frames of it spawning in for MASSIVE damage

Hunting deers with a spear is much easier imo. It doesn't fly in random places like the bow and requires much less stamina and precison

24:30 some people enable fire hazards to metagame.
I enable fire hazards to make building more of a challenge.

4:10 the most efficient storage method in valheim is actually barrels.

They only take up half the space of a basic chest but can hold 20% more loot and 2 of them side/side can hold the same amount as a reinforced chest but for a far lower build cost.

One Reinforced chest (10 finewood, 2 iron)

Two Barrels (20 wood, 100 coins)

1:20:50 silver has minimum altitude required to spawn, so it is normal not to find anything there.

Risk of rain music was a top tier decision

@jkmjkm-p2e 2 weeks ago

Pro tip, a pole arm is by far superior to fighting trolls as a bow. One special attack from a bronze pole arm is a 100% stagger on trolls and a nice aoe to boot

20:50: I'm gonna be honest, I just rawdog the hills and bumps with the Eithyr Power active and my axe ready to cut down shrubbery and the half dozen Greylings and Greydwarfs that will inevitably try to block my path.

Oh, and I bring three pickaxes at once, and level up the skill first by removing all rocks near my base, which all go into the dirt wall
