Brother. I knew editing was tedious. But your intro is a real eye opener to the extensive amount of work you put in. I didn't realize how much work went in until I saw all the book marks, the huge script, and then the realization that all of it also had to be processed and put together. That's awesome dude, thanks for what you do.

PEAK second monitor content. Really cool seeing Valheim from new players perspective, refreshing!

Finally a video to watch and fall asleep too for 2 weeks

I'd never have anywhere near the frustration resistance to do something like this.

Seeing him make it through the cave and just ignore the fenris resources made me realize how not-obvious they can be to folks.

That blissful feeling when Thatguypredz posts

I think this is the best video essay showing off why "hard" doesn't mean fun. Sure you can struggle until the end of time for internet browny points but i do not see the point. Could've at least relaxed the "you lose everything" part of it and it would've been just as entertaining. Kudos to you for holding out that long, what a slog of a journey.

I completely understand you being tired and burnt out from this. However I do hope you find the time to come back to this. This series has been my absolute favorite and I have really enjoyed watching the videos!

Dodge roll?!? If he finishes this entire playthrough without that mechanic in his arsenal, might be the most hardcore thing I've ever seen on this channel.

Man, I've not played Valheim in a good while... I forgot how good the music is, especially the home (night) theme.

It might be the case because I'm sick, but I was lying down while watching, that theme came on for a few minutes, and I zonked-out for a good hour and a half.

I can't believe he discovered the Bog Witch early . . . and then didn't bother to go visit the shop! Feasts and the other goodies would have been a huge help.

Me having never played a single second of Valheim, watching a 5 hour video from the guy who made 4 hour videos for Project Zomboid, another game I haven't played a single second of :yougotthis:

Your maximum health has a major impact on what you can parry, far more than your armor rating. Lower maximum health means all enemies do more stagger to you, as their attacks are a higher pecentage of your health. Less stagger is less that needs to be parried. There are in-depth videos on this, but the main takeaway from all of them is to run more health foods if you want to be able to parry more powerful attacks.

i like it when people dont try to strech their Videos to 15min

The string of deaths at about an hour 40 is why i don't play "lose everything on death" games. They're just a feedback loop that makes you replay dozens of hours the game for one mistake

I'm about 3 hours into the video and surprised you haven't discovered node popping, its incredibly satisfying and efficient. you just dig a moat around the node exposing only the ore, then dig underneath/through it to separate it from the ground. if you end up with a big floating node flatten the floor to reveal any node pieces that my be in the ground providing invisible support for the entire node, if the floor is clear just hit the floating node starting with the pieces that are lowest to the ground. once its fully separated from the ground the node pops and all the ore are stone comes raining down in the most gloriously satisfying way.
