Internet etiquette 101 should be a class every content creator takes before becoming an influencer with an audience. Today we’re talking about the drama between Sssniperwolf and Jacksfilms. What started as an online back and forth between two YouTubers with large audiences suddenly turned too real when Lia showed up at Jack’s house and posted a picture of his house on her Instagram. The man was doxed. This started an important conversation about fair use, transformative content, mobilizing your audience, and fandom culture. Sssniperwolf is no stranger to causing drama online - it’s wild how she’s been able to get away with so many things while still being YouTube’s favorite. Appearances matter, and we’re witnessing what happens when you fit into society’s beauty standard. The Problem With Pretty Privilege On YouTube #edvasian #ad

Pretty privilege is definitely an issue. It’s so ironic that she can be so bothered by him posting videos about her content when that’s all her content is. Her commenting on others content. But showing up at his house was ridiculous and she absolutely deserved to be punished.

What really bothers me about her is that she shames other women for being fake and ugly because of having plastic when she clearly has lip filler and god knows what else it’s embarrassing 💀

@pinphahpnip 2 years ago

YouTube is doing the same junk that Twitch does where they show blatant favortism, give a slap-on-the wrist, & try to change the subject

@Krystal109 2 years ago

SSSniperwolf has a serious victim complex. She goes around stealing content, shaming other ppl, doxxing, etc and then when someone calls her out she calls THEM obsessive and plays the victim.

Lia has always been problematic. I've never understood the appeal or endless chances given.

@axelsgf 2 years ago

YouTube needs to stop being so biased, she deserves a bigger punishment for the things shes done.

It’s not only about pretty privilege for Sniperwolf, she quite literally is one of the biggest creators on this platform, YouTube doesn’t want to take charge and give her a consequence because they make money off her

@santiv4 2 years ago

people dont mention swatting as much as they used to but its still very much an extremely dangerous thing that’s still possible, glad you mentioned it

I feel like the halo effect around beauty has a lot to do with how we’re socialized from a young age to moralize beauty.

Example:

The beautiful, good princess

The wicked, ugly stepsister

It's genuinely disappointing the amount of people in the comments who don't seem to understand satire and criticism are not harassment. "He made a bunch of videos about her". He made a bunch of transformative videos of her work on what is clearly a parody channel. Ofc it's going to have videos about her on the channel, Sssniperwolf is the source that's being parodied. Do you get mad at Scary Movie for referencing Scream?

Even if finding his house was as easy as a search away, why would she even want to search up his address to begin with you know

@blissfille 2 years ago

Bro the fact she actually showed up to his house at night is actually psychotic. She casually stalked him and sees nothing wrong with it

@Rihcterwilker 2 years ago

Sssnyperwolf is a criminal, in the literal sense of the word. She thinks and acts like one.

Her nice persona breaks down everytime she has to do something off camera. Like when she promised to meet a dying girl, then ghosted her, for being "too busy".

@santiv4 2 years ago

bro sssniperwolf acts as if hes making videos on top of streams but all thats actually being done is a stream bingo of a video of hers edited by other people and cut down to be uploaded to youtube. its not even his main channel its a side channel—you addressed it but she didnt even notice apparently.

What I think is kind of overlooked is she even has been charged twice with armed robbery(!!) and I think orderly misconduct before. That’s why it’s extra scary for her to show up at Jacks house… and then doxxing too. I think it shows her very ill intentions

I feel like pretty privilege is a problem everywhere, but it is especially prevalent online! Thank you for pointing this out in another great video!

@BrianaLoops89 2 years ago

She spelt jacks tag wrong so it wouldn't direct link to him. I fully believe it was on purpose.

Arriving outside of his house is CRAZY

As someone who has gone through something very similar to this, I stand with Jack. He did nothing wrong. Leah is obsessed and actually dangerous. People need to stop supporting her before she does something even worse. Again, it happened to me. I'm not making these claims without standing grounds.
