Omg, the "nighty night" method had me laughing out loud.

Suddenly, I'm back in culinary school, where it was mandatory to view a selected set of Good Eats episodes, by our chef instructors, and hold a Q&A sesh afterwards. Along with the Julie & Julia, Ratatouille, etc., in our hands on courses.

Later after that, I viewed the rest of the show on my own leusure, and enjoyed the Alton Brown content (in that shows' style and format) from that point forward.

Keep having fun like this, Alton. We view your gastronomic labors with great joy.

As a updtate NY resident you pretty much nailed the pronunciation of Oswego.
The culinary school comments and hand whipping cream brought back many memories of things I never made again and things I choose not to do any longer
