Owen, this place was in 100 times better condition 2 years ago. It's last owner made it into apartments so that's why so many bathrooms etc. Poor girl sure has seen better days. Yes there was a fire in one of the top floor apartments so that's why there's fire damage. The basement stairs was off the kitchen. Kind of surprised you drove there. Long way from home. I have often wondered how the old girl was fairing and now I have seen it's all ready to fall down. Thanks for the tour !
Thank you for sharing this house. It must have been amazing when it was new. All the details show how much work went into this place. Made me nervous, glad when you got out.
It's so sad to see how far gone this old beauty is. My grandparents lived in that town and we would always drive past this house when visiting. I called it the Barbie Dream House and I always wished I could buy it. It's been abandoned since the early to mid 90's. Still one of the most gorgeous Victorian homes I've ever seen. Hurts my heart that a work of art like this will soon just be rubble. Such a waste.
There is so much that could still be salvaged from this house. The iron on the roof is beautiful....love that mini claw-foot tub! I am glad that someone else is in the house with you because the floors are so dangerous.
For some reason this house makes me think Mary Kay Products. Everything was pink, she would award her highest selling salespeople with pink Cadillacs. Especially when you showed that door with MKP on it. She sold all kind of makeup products, I remember my mom had some years ago.
That's an incredible find Owen. Just think that this house was made 7 years before Canada became its own country. It would have been a British colony still. Really like the pocket doors.😊😊😊😊
Love this house!! I can imagine what it must have looked like when it was in good condition. The owners were probably wealthy because of all of the high end details inside and out.
Just found you yesterday. Been binging your videos. I love your attention to the details of these old stunners, not just walking thru. This one is sooo sad! (Edit:) Gahhh.... I wish we could see pictures of this place before it was left to rot!
