This is why noone can afford a house anymore. When I was coming up in the 70's & 80's these older homes were affordable. But now we have BIG Corporation buying the houses if it has land, just to redevelop. They can always outbid an average person.
This house is NOT from the 60s. More like the early 50s or even the late 40s. There is SO here that can be salvaged. This house should be DECONSTRUCTED, not demolished
My house is an old home that my husband and I fixed up. It was a labor of love that we take great pride in now. Hopefully, the same will become of this house. These old homes are built so much better than what's built today.
This house is an old money house …..well built but not ostentatious probably started as a very small house then had extensions built as family grew … great videos
I absolutely love built-in shelving in houses. When you went up the stairs, and I saw the built-ins, I just smiled and smiled. That would be a perfect little reading nook. So cozy... with a window. I don't know if a chair would fit in there, but I would have made that my cozy reading nook area!!
All those huge windows overlooking that gorgeous property. I love it so much. I would definitely have my morning coffee on that porch. Breathtaking. All of the light fixtures are so cool! My fireplace looks almost exactly like the white one in the room with the corner cabinet. Love the library section! And yes, my kitchen is just as big as their laundry room! Thank you for all the photos and videos of this property.
We had a carpeted bathroom in the seventies and I was one of three girls responsible for cleaning it. It was very unhygienic. We never had a toilet overflow, but with a man in the house, well, let's just say his aim wasn't the greatest. Eww!
Amazing ABANDONED 1960s MANSION frozen in time! **untouched!**
