Wuhu Island content in 2026. The world is healing.

Thank you, YouTube, for digging deep to cater to my autism. This is gold.

i think ill take skydiving to every sport over the bus system

"there's no other way except through the mountain to get to the top"
huh, it's gotta be-
"a motherfuckin' GONDOLA BABY"
YEAHHHHH

Imagine being a bus driver for the red line and doing 12 times the route each hour

I have some experience with public transport planning and I will offer the following advice:

The blue line gondola should go to the meadows, that way it can be accessed by the green and the red line alike, improving connectivity

in the first 0:46 seconds you fulfilled my childhood dream of making a good paper model of Wuhu Island and that is amazing

Wuhu Island despite being tiny is a really convincing world, the fact they thought about how everything should be electric is genius but does make me wonder where they are landing or parking their planes

Great video!
A way to fix the red line and blue line syncing up is to lower the frequency of the blue line to 6x an hour. That would fix the frequency issue for people to wuhu village half of the time. But at least they won’t sync up anymore. For the size of the town and the destinations people want to go to (and especially the touristy nature of the island) 10 minute wait time is totally fine.

"How do I know this? Because I stalked this guy driving around the island to see how long it would take for a car to make the full loop"

"Officer, I swear! That plane has been following me while driving!"

My area offers e-bikes that you can rent from stops! I think that would work well on Wuhu island considering that people want to get active there

"Where the nitty really hits the griddy" good lord

Fun fact, Wuhu Island first appearance wasn't in Wii Sports resort, but instead in Wii fit

I remember swallowing a coin while waiting for my father to end his turn with island fly over

The red line could've been a tram line. It just loops at a constant pace and with minor elevation changes, so trams would not have any issues, and they'd have no recharging issues (since overhead lines are constant). Trams also have way more capacity per vehicle, which is important for the transit line used by everyone on their morning commute. And lastly, trams are known to have way more consistency and tend to be tons more timely than buses, which is also important for rigid schedules. If you add passing rails wisely, you can even get away with only having one track for two trams going in opposite directions!
The green line however is better off remaining a bus route, since it'll likely not need the extra capacity, faces harsh elevation, and doesn't loop.
You do seem to be American rather than European, so I can't fault you for not thinking of trams, but they're truly amazing and, in most situations, should have a higher priority than buses.
Lovely route planning though!

clicked on a video with 87 views, saw the hand-made paper intro, and immediately subbed, turned on notifs, and liked the video. absolutely MYTHICAL homepage pull, can't wait to watch literally every video you've ever made

edit: okay i actually watched the video and i was right. i love your style, i love the effort you put in with the physical map of the island, and i love your vibes. please never stop making stuff <3

Nintendo NEEDS to make this canon if they ever bring back Wuhu Island

To be fair as to why they don't already have it, the entire island loop is roughly a 10 minute run (as seen in Wii Fit), and as per the whole Wii "Sports", its residents do seem to be athletically inclined.

What you designed is oddly similar to the bus system in Gibraltar, which is also a small touristy type territory. I know the bus frequency of every 5 minutes is a result of video game logic, but it is completely overkill. In Gibraltar a bus every 30 minutes can sometimes not even have a single passenger, since there are many lines/directions, not everyone uses the bus, there may be competing shuttles from hotels, most months of the year only get a fraction of peak visitors, and most of the European tourists just walk everywhere anyways. Other small tourist towns I've been to like Interlaken (Switzerland) and Andorra la Vella also have similar frequencies and most people don't mind the wait. Basically the Miis of Wuhu island are very spoilt under you system :)

This is so my niche I quite literally have no one to send this to irl
