In this video, we look at the lonely hill of Amon Ereb, the site of one of Morgoth's first attempts to destroy Beleriand, and eventually the final place he would conquer before his own climactic defeat.

The last stand of the Fëanorians, who epitomized the saying 'with friends like these, who needs enemies.'

You might be running out of places but the places you cover are interesting. Keep it up.

Maglor: I had an idea, what if we stopped being monstrous?
Morgoth: Alright, I've seen enough.

The tragedy of Morgoth's inevitability: like a force of nature, you know he will prevail in the end against the scattered kingdoms of men and elves

I recall pondering about Amon Ereb once upon a time.

me: angrily crying woman screaming that Erebor is totally Amon Ereb in punted form
you: haughtily serene cat sitting in front of salad, but instead of consisting in vegetables, the salad is just "nope"

Tol Galen / Dor Firn-i-Guinar, or at least its coordinates, also survived as part of the Harlindon. Luthien dwelt there, with a Silmaril even, so I'd think Tolkien should have marked it.

More Beleriand please.

Particularly, I'm curious to know how about the valley/plain on the north edge of Doriath and why it was such a nasty place (thinking about the migration of Haleth). People couldn't go through Melian's girdle, and so that was their only route.

One may presume-i-guess that perhaps Beleriand was less "destroyed" as much as "depressed", like say as a massive network morgoth had utilised underneath Beleriand or to such an extent that when the war of wrath occured those areas underground was collapsed causing the whole of Beleriand (most parts) to simple collapse downwards.
