The argentinean army have a series of upgrades in their FAL that were "design" from DSA guys and are freaking sick.
The project was called FAL M5 and the standards are FAMA ( Assault Model), FAMCa ( Carbine Model), FAMTD ( Special Shooter Model).

Nice.  Someone told me these weren't good for Paras because you had to take it off to remove the bolt.  Apparently that's not the case.  Glad to see.

BEST scope mount for the Fal is made by Arms Inc. ARMS #3 for the Standard and ARMS #4 for the Para.  Slides on to the upper. Nice tight fit. No bolts required like DSA.

How do you keep the damn spring under tension to be able to close the upper and the lower and have the rifle function as it should with the spring rod properly seated

Awesome I have a Israeli light barrel kit and so want too make it a 16" rifle build , but I'd love to know if anyone has done this and if the gas systems are the same length 👍👍
