one moment that always sticks with me is at queer prom where a queer ADULT tells 13yo connor that jude not labelling himself means that maybe connor shouldnt date him and then connor threatens to break up with jude until he says hes gay. like what are you telling the young queer teens in your audience who maybe havent fully figured themselves out yet?

The way i've been hoping for someone to dissect this show because what the actual fuck was going on. it feels like whenever i ask people about it they have no clue what it is.

I'd watch a rewatch of the fosters because the only way i'd sit through that brain rot of a show again💀💀💀 like why the fuck was i watching that as a kid

I would love a complete breakdown! It took me a bit to get used to the audio (there’s like an echo) but I’m really glad YT added this vid to my auto downloads. This was nice to listen to at work! I lived the fosters for the first season or two; but I lost interest pretty quick.

I loved this show so much and don’t see hardly anyone else talking about it. The found family aspect and the idea that family isn’t about blood, it’s about who shows up and shows you through their actions that they love you hit me really hard emotionally because my relationship with my family is… I’ll just say complicated.

15:44 you gotta watch that part of the show again… what happened is that Stef was shot, then Mike came in and shot the guy that shot Stef, but the guy had dropped his gun after he shot Stef, but Mike hadn’t noticed that because he fired almost immediately.  Everything was done correctly.

I think what weirded me out about Luther and Alison is they were raised to act like siblings, and the rest of the family all think of each other like siblings. Id like to hear you eleborate why theyre not like siblings in any way. Not meaning to be hostile, just confused lol. great video!

I loved the Fosters omg, I even tried watching Good Trouble for the first couple seasons 🤣🤣

When I was a teenager, I avoided Secret Life, The Fosters, and Pretty Little Liars. Instead, I watched reruns of Reba and Boy Meets World on ABC Family, two strange sitcoms with problematic themes that had a few decent arcs and some funny bits. That was the closest I got to "mature" content as a fellow Christian teen.
