bro slowly becoming a metalhead

The song  7words refers to "You have the right to remain silent." The song is aimed towards police social injustice against minorities. Chino is Mexican/Filipino. Its his about his pov seeing people of his background mistreated by the justice system.

Its comforting watch you be so enthusiastic and respectful listing to the albums that shaped my teen years. Also im a black woman, and always have been an avid rock fan. Good to see other POC enjoying all types of music. The representation does my old heart good. Im almost 40 now but i wore this cd out in my walkman, smoking weed in my bathroom and trying to blow it out the exhaust fan.

Bro imagine the debuts of Korn, Deftones, Rage and Limp all coming out in a 5 year span

He got throat surgery back in 01’ and still managed to make their heaviest album with 2003’ selftitled one you will check out soon it’s really amazing that he never got vocal lessons until that point in his career

Engine No.9 hits so freaking hard! My favorite Deftones song by far. I used to love skating to that song 25 years ago.

seven words is about police brutality seven words hence -you have the right to remain silent -

Definitely my favourite album of theirs. It’s so overwhelmingly energetic and pissed off, such a great album.

the second half of Fireal always makes me cry.

37:29 I had the same reaction, Chino's rapping flow is so amazing.

Madonna signed Deftones to her Maverick record label for the Adrenaline album. I bought this album the day it came out. Banger!

I’m here for every Deftones reaction!

This album is killer.  The riffs are insane!

Love to see young people loving the music I have for over 30 years woooooo makes me so happy. Thanks for the reaction

For me, this will always be their seminal album, most raw and their best.  Bought it 3weeks after it came out, recommended by a buddy and I still listen to it 28 years later.

The way their sound changes over the years back and fourth shows you how the music they write is forever timeless and ahead of it’s time

Abe Cunningham is on the drums as a drummer myself he is hands down my number one haha

47:30 thank God he stayed until my all time favorite deftones song. I miss the secret songs from the 90s.

I just want to say thank you. For really getting into Fireal and especially Fist. Deep deep cuts, very underrated but beautiful tracks.
