NEVER REALLY LISTENED TO DEFTONES BUT THEY GOT SOME GOOD SONGS

"Risk" is a tribute to Chi, the bassist, who was in a coma at the time. The lyrics represent the feeling of wanting to save someone.

I was neck deep and in heroin addiction when this album came out. You’ve Seen The Butcher was my song for trying out the new batch and then I met the woman that I would end up marrying. We listened to this album nonstop and against all odds she convinced me to clean up and get sober. This album was playing in the background the whole time. That’s why I say it holds a very deep place in my heart. Love seeing younger people discovering this music because it can and will save your life if you let it.

This and Koi no Yokan are their best albums in my opinion

Prince is so underrated

beauty school one of my favorite tracks of all time

And btw...976 evil is their most underrated song cuz its def top 5 in their catalog.  The nostalgic feeling it brings is unmatched!!

This album is how i got my son into Deftones. I recently just took him to his second Deftones show. Good times, welcome to the party

The outro on Royal hits so hard. That last uuuuupppppppppp is ridiculous

This album is an absolute masterpiece and I’ll die on that hill. Deftones forever. Watching you discover this gem was incredible, keep up the work!

I never leave a Deftone concert with my shoes.

I think they are one of the most consistent bands of all time

great reaction kid love that this new generation is fucking with my favorite band

976 evil was once my most favourite song in the world,
My impulsive thoughts decided to tattoo the title on my right hand lol.
Can’t say i don’t regret it even after 4 years!

I’ve been a rabid Deftones fan since I was like ten years old. Roughly 1996 and I love practically every album but Diamond Eyes holds the most special place in my heart.

It’s awesome seeing someone else react to Deftones for the first time. Reminds me of my first reaction lol💀 Good shit bro

I remember when I went in vacation to Tennessee, I think it was like 2016 or something and we had this album blasting, Beauty School came on while we were driving at night and that was one of my favorite experiences I ever had

Hard to express how happy Deftones fans were when this dropped after significant delay, and after losing their bassist, and after the mixed-opinion Saturday night wrist.
Something everyone could get behind, and show their friends. It really was their second life of their career.

My personal favorite deftones album

IMHO this is a band with a no skips discography any album you try from Adrenaline (1995) to Ohms (2020) will be awesome!!
