I'm a 57 year old woman and play rdr2 and rdo everyday am in my 9th playthrough of story mode right now and still find new things much to my husband's chagrin lol this is the first game I've played since pac man so I love the game

You're still too young to fully get it - you're what, like 20 now? You understand it more than you did at 13, but you have to reach your late 30s to early 40s - the same age range as most of the gang members - to fully grasp the idea of your time having passed, of being like a ghost in a world you don't recognize anymore. By the time you're that age, the world will have changed so much that you literally won't be able to go back to many of the old places you knew, because they won't exist anymore. Many of the people you know now will be gone. And your view of things will be unwanted by polite society.

Then you'll truly understand what RDR2 is about: Time.

Took me a while to realize this was made by a channel with less than 200 subscribers. Amazing video keep doing what you’re doing :)

peak game peak video. time for another playthrough

At least Reverend Swanson kicked his addiction and left during Chapter 6.

In the process of my second play through after 7 years on the shelf.  52 yo

I took months to go back and finish the epilogue cause it felt a like true loss. It really added to the realism that the world moves on and memories fade.

Subbed, getting in on the ground floor of history.

I've played 2022 hrs in story mode. I can't get enough of this world.

I was in college when it first came out and instantly fell in love with the game.

I felt old when I heard 13 when rdr2 came out
GTA 5 was the first rockstar game I was legally allowed to buy myself , I was 18 when that came out
My mam bought me gta 4 and red dead 1 😂

Everybody has to understand, Low Honor Help John is the true ending. No way in hell is Micah just leaving Arthur to a peaceful death. And that cold end gives us an actual reason to desire revenge as John. 🤷🏽‍♂️🍿

First time I played RDR2 I spent around 250 hours in Chapter 2. I now play both RDO as well as RDR2 and have over 3,000 hours in total.

Best game ever made from my perspective and I'm over 60 years old.

The proper way to play is Arthur is a true outlaw gang member (not necessarily a mindless killing machine) up until his diagnosis. That's what pushes him to redeem himself and his honor. Then, in the end, choose to go back.

If you play as a saint from the beginning, then the redemption arc doesn't make much sense. Going back makes more sense than continuing on because John needs cover from the Pinkertons and he needs money. Even more, Arthur makes it clear he's not going back for the money for himself but rather to confront Dutch and Micah. Speaking of Micah, him popping up on the mountain makes zero sense. It's like a cartoon.

To be fair. It’s an mature rated game so it really is meant for 17+ ages. Even then, that’s too young to fully understand. I’m 25, played through first time as an 17 year old. I understood things here and there but I did not understand the existentialism as I do now. This is truly a game meant for the older audience to delve into. Jaded experiences really help you understand Arthur and certain actions throughout the game that wouldn’t make much sense as a young person. I’m still young but I’m more matured than I was 8 years ago and my recent playthrough showed that and the amount of tears I shed too.

Haven't touched this since first finishing it. This has me wanting to change that

Bro, I’m literally 13 and just started playing the game as an outlaw with Low honor💀💀

Well. You’ve convinced me…. Time for my 4th playthrough 😁

Hell of a fourth video sir. Keep up the good work!

nice video man, idk if you are stressed or not about how you did but you did good
