Arthur is family. He was never hated and always be loved.

Best character in fiction in the 21st century IMO nobody comes close

Any anxiety people had about Arthur Morgan soon melted away once they started playing. I distinctly remember Arthur giving Pearson shit in one of the very first mission cut scenes and thinking "Oh I like this dude. He doesn't take any shit and has a sense of humour."

They certainly have their work cut out for them in GTA VI. I just hope they continue to care as much about the development and journeys of their characters. We'll see come Nov 19...

You're a good man Mr Morgan

Both games made me cry, first games to ever do so 😅 that’s was some damn good writing.

I remember really not liking his voice from the bit you hear in the early trailers and was worried they had cast troy baker to play him reprising his ocelot/Joel voice but more played up. Not knocking him, he did great in those games, but I was worried because of oversaturation. Like how you could easily tell if Nolan north was voicing a character in most games from the 2007 to about 2018. On playing it I was mixed on it in colter, but came around to it during horseshoe when his performance could open up a bit more, and it only got better as the the game progressed. Roger clark did an amazing playing him especially nailing the deeper moments of a man being confronted with his own dwendeling mortality, looking out for the ones he loved with the limited time he has left.

It is kind of insane to think back on how much everyone wanted John to be the protagonist. Arthur turns out to be an absolute delight to play as, and ends up sticking with you (at least me) way more than John in RDR 1 or the epilogue.

Everyone hyped for Gta6 but i only crave a Rdr3

I never hated Arthur Morgan, I liked him since the beginning he is my favorite video game protagonist after all.

I love Arthur so much. So much. it's not Gay. It's like something I cannot even tell you what it is. Just like imagine the person you admire or like...I don't know wtf I am saying. I just love him

This is why never judge too early

I like how you touched on Arthur not just being a carbon copy of John, obviously in motivation but I also think in attitude.

Arthur, even when you play him low honor, is much more of a violence used as bravado kind of character. He threatens, beats, and sometimes kills largely just to get things done quickly, unless you play him as a maniac he doesn’t often kill people randomly. He even calls Dutch out for it.

John in the first game is much quicker to straight-up kill a dude, there’s less of an intimidation phase and it quicker resorts to “Last chance. Okay, so be it.” John felt almost cold and distanced from his actions in a way Arthur, even low honor Arthur, does not.

Just finished your John video and wondered if that video on Arthur was out only to find out it came out 2 minutes ago, love the John video and loving this one too

I was def one of the “who cares about this Arthur guy!?!??” People. Now I spend most of my time in ch2 doing everything you can as Arthur. He’s definitely well-written with a great sense of humor. The best are “greet greet antagonize” setups and payoffs. Genius

This was a masterpiece 🥶 rip Arthur morgan the best right hand man and a greater brotherhood towards John marston

Same will happen with Jason

Playing the second game to the first was a real ride, I love Arthur Morgan, one of my most favorite characters of ALL TIME ❤

Fast forward we are experiencing the same thing with Jason

Arthur is the GOAT

I've never played with RDR1. Arthur was my first protagonist in this universe.
