I like how Admiral Zhao, the MAIN ANTAGONIST of Book One did not appear in the game until the point of the plot where he literally dies

Fun Fact: When Zhao says Your Alive he is referring to when he exploded Zuko’s whole ship but this game decided not to show that

"haha this looks like such bad old game"
Released in 2023
"what"

It hurts because this game looks visually almost there, and then you see it in motion and it all falls apart

A real "tell don't show" game

The narrators being the White Lotus re-telling the story to each other is a really good idea and it’s a shame that this is the game it’s used in.

I assumed this was something from 2007, so when I saw the 2023 copyright I had to do a triple take.

The bumi episode literally had puzzles and action in it already, and they just info dumped the whole thing.

“i have low expectations”
0:14
“should’ve set them lower”

I’ve never seen a game intended for preschoolers that also assumes you have an encyclopedia knowledge of the entire series before.

I like how they show Momo in a cutscene, but then he’s never in the gameplay whatsoever

I couldn't agree with Jacob more when he says that avatar deserves a good game with it's world!! HOW TF HASN'T THERE BEEN A GOOD AVATAR GAME RELEASED YET IT'S INCREDIBLE!

"I tried the terrible Avatar game"
Me: ...which one?

What kills me is that for the “cutscenes” they can’t even stick to one style.

One (very rare) moment it’s 3D, then next it’s a comic book style, then it’s literally just a box of text, then it just randomly picks between the three above.

Crazy how Jacob had more fun trying to get back in bounds than actually playing the game

How Can A Waterbender Not Swim??? SHE CAN CONTROL WATER!!!!!

we didnt even get to see giant moon spirit subway surfers

I like how they could have just copy pasted the original  “fire, water, earth, air” intro, but instead chose to not only make a new one, but spoil the show as well. Fuck, they literally could have thrown in clips from the show, but chose to follow the stupid comic strip trend in modern single player games.

Everytime text came up on screen I felt like quoting Aslan's "Do not cite the Deep Magic to me, Witch! I was there when it was written."

Damn if this had been released back in 2009 it would have still been bad
