Starfire has always had a very interesting autism coding thanks to how writers go with the contrast between her and Blackfire. Kory is often introduced as a fish out of water character (in the TT show it seems they wanted to reference the exchange student archetype) so she is often shown not understanding customs, idioms, attitudes and so on and it makes sense since she's an alien at the end of the day BUT then you get Blackfire (or other alien characters) in the picture and she acts very "normal", getting easily accustomed and not making the same type of culture shock mistakes Starfire deals with.

It reminds me a lot of Rook Blonko from Ben 10 who is also introduced as an alien who doesn't understand human culture but then you get presented his home planet and family and it's shown that he was always somewhat of a black sheep.

This is what I would say to Starfire: “You may think that Blackfire is better than you, but that’s not true. You are so much better than her in all ways. You know how to be a hero while she doesn’t, you better on knowing what’s best for Tamaran than her, and you are caring while she doesn’t even know the first thing about being nice.”

Well, Blackfire was told about the Titans by Starfire (since Blackfire herself mentioned "transmissions" during the meet and greet), so that's how she intigrated so easily.

Starfire is best show as the sister episode is cool but Blackfire is the sister antagonist

I feel bad for starfire cuz while she's relies on Robin to help her as she fully doesn't understand earth customs her sister on the other acts like she knows everything like martial arts knowing starfire friends hobbies to get their attention to blackfire instead of starfire to be better than her all just because starfire doesn't do what blackfire does when mind you starfire had been fighting for all her life prior to robin and the titans helping starfire I honestly not sure why exactly starfire constantly continues to be the better sister of starfire and tries to make her feel alone either jealously or something else what makes it worse is that when cyborg thought the idea that blackfire should join the titans starfire instantly thinks that there trying to replace her and tried to leave only for robin to stop her and save her which again W rizz and very sweet of him. Starfire also being framed for something she didn't even do is also upsetting when the police assumed she was the culprit when they were actually looking for blackfire who committed many crimes but thankfully starfire got the courage she needed to stop blackfire and put her in her place but I wish they had more sibling dynamic rivalry like this like i know there's that other episode where starfire fights blackfire and won but there be more moments where starfire deserves the right to stand up to her sister

This was the 1st episode of Teen Titans I saw. Good times😊

it would be cool if blackfire would reform and become a good sister to starfire. just like nebula did with gamora in the gaurdians of the galaxy movies.

Could we talk about Naofumi from Shield hero

He teach us

Actions always outspeak reputation because the people he actively serves and protects learn to judge him by his undeniable deeds rather than the malicious rumors spread by his enemies

Unfortunately, Starfire's love for her sister got destroyed in TTG.

I love Starfire!!!

Side note - this episode was really where Starfire and Blackfire… were drawn, animated and shot in VERY SPECIFIC ways and angles 😉

Please do Fear Itself or Transformation!
