I’ve also made a video explaining why I believe Trevor is deeply misunderstood. Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYAaqZx3_e8&list=PLc1m14WafOik&index=2

And if you enjoy this type of content I’d love it if you supported me on Patreon so I could spend more time making videos like this: https://www.patreon.com/cw/CriticallyRespawned

By the way, I’m sorry I sound so tired toward the end of the video, I’d barely slept the night before haha.

Much love.

If your character isn't loud and obnoxious or just plain stupid...then he's boring. GTA Fandom logic
Tiktok really killed those last 2 braincells.

I feel like they didn’t do enough with Franklin’s story. I thought Stretch was going to be a way bigger antagonist.

Also I think Franklin is supposed to have the more neutral personality so the player can easily picture themselves as the main character

Franklin was a representation of beginning level gta character. Michael was a representation of the gta character after winning the game. Trevor is the chaotic player that causes mass destruction. All three are needed to completed the story

I don't think that Franklink's character is boring, HOWEVER I do believe that Micheal and Trevor have better characters than him.

13:13 he is lonely when your smoking in the first safe house he talks about how empty he is and how he dosent have any real friends, and how he hates himself

I think Franklin is the most interesting of all 3 characters because he is more nuanced and has more backstory than most people would assume😅
Michael and Trevor are more on the extreme side of their tendencies, Michael more professional and Trevor more erratic. All 3 are great characters but more people can relate to Franklin than the other two.

This video made me realize I barely know the story of gta 5

I really like Frank. Is he better than Mike & Trevor? Absolutely not but he's still a really good character

For me the point in the story that i realised Lamar was an asshole was when he assumed Franklin was "supposed" to save him because they are 'homies' for life (9:52, ignore the video speech, just the cutscene in the background) being completely ungrateful, expecting this kind of behavior from him naturally. The way he drags him back into the "hood" is very sad but develops franklin as a character so much.

For me Franklin in the true protagonist of this game.

I wouldn't say he's a boring character i just feel like they didn't do enough with his story Franklin was always the middle man thru out michael and Trevor's friendship the story was mainly focused on michael and Trevor's past

I just discovered that during Franklins cutscenes. The cutscenes behaves as if a cameraman is on foot with the protagonist while capturing every moment. Like the show the office. And Micheal’s cutscenes are way more stable like movie studio typa videography.

Franklin is like my little boy I’m so protective of him

I always felt weird that people say Franklin didn't care for Lamar and this video explained why. He does care, he just acts superior, because he thinks he knows more, but in reality, he's chasing a dream that doesn't make you satisfied. Money doesn't make you happy, it just gives you opportunities, except for one, loyality. That is what Franklin realises at the end of option B and after he visits Lester in option C. Money only gives him the option to move from teh streets, contacts and loyality is what give him the opportunity to chose his own ending. Lamar knows Frank saved his life multiple times, he knows he's got hsi back, that's why he doesn't stop for a moment when Frank calls him in the end.
It's also the second advice Lester gives to Franklin, the first one is, be smart, but especially calculated, that makes you money.
The second is have somebody who covers your back.
It is very evident, that Lester has been preparing for that moment for weeks. He has a plan prepared, tracking every major enemy of the trio. Earlier in the story he has trouble tracking someone on the spot, even he isn't good enough hacker to have their locations on the spot (especially Steve Haines). Cutting lose ends and creating power vacuum in the process. Power vacuum that they desperately need, ever since they steal tons of gold. All Franklin has to do is get the trio to the foundry and somebody covering his back (Lamar and Lester as well).
In the end all the protagonist have a really good story.

I personally think that franklin was just like lamar, hence why they used to get so along, but once tanisha left him for him being a family gangsta, i think he started to change so that tanisha would want him again

Do like how Lamar is to Franklin like what Trevor is to Michael, also Trev and Lamar do get along well when they are together. Both crazy but in different ways.

Now feeling it Franklin feels like he would be a dlc character, they should’ve made a dlc with him and explored him more

that was a really good video
