I am a retired illustrator. The YT algorithm led me to your channel and this video.
Listening to you made me realise numerous things.
I wish I had heard this forty years ago. You`re a true gem, and I know you have changed and will continue to change the lives of many artists.
Thank you very much.
Sending greetings and much love♥from Slovenia.

I am a looonng time figural painter, but just a few years ago I became fascinated by all the crows who regularly visit our front yard. The are so intriguing to watch! Full of spirit and they are often hilarious. Anyway, I began to sketch them, which led to small paintings and I'm still at it, and yes, buyers are also smitten with them! Enjoyed the video, thank you.

Thank you for being so generous with your mentoring! You’re a huge help for all of us ❤️

I am so enjoying the background I see in your video. I see the colors of your art in your home. I see the creativity of your space. Beautiful... Thank you for your wisdom in your teaching video.

I just adore your spirit! I am one of those new (ish) artist who began painting for myself during a long span of health issues a few years ago. Family and friends responded in positive and encouraging ways so I started doing paint parties. Then people began asking if I would sell a painting I posted. Now, I am on a personal growth journey in learning. I will say, I have crossed MANY artist, even local artist, who are not willing to share or teach. I think that is a gift as well as a personality trait. You are one of the loving, open & encouraging and I THANK YOU! Art has literally been a huge part in saving my life. Artist such as yourself, also take part in that. I hope to (as best I can and in what I have to offer) do the same for others. 😘🥰🤩

White Vanilla is my thing, so fluffy Marshmallow, vanilla frosting, meringue...fluffy clouds

You are so generous with your time, videos, and information! I realized that I need to be WAY more intentional about finding my voice. Im all about bright colors but can't decide on a subject matter or style. Im all over the place! Loved the idea to make a board on pinterest as a start, with a common thread..

I really really appreciate your video and your presentation. You get straight to the point, you’re realistic and I love your work.

Incredibly well explained and interpreted Julia!  This just makes so much sense in how to find a niche!  I need to notice what I enjoy and offer that aspect of what I enjoy in different formats of a common thread. I like this a lot.

I love how open, honest and helpful your videos are. Thank you! I love your Canadian landscape ones but I think my new favorite is the ocean one you made called “Mesmerised”!! The colors you used, and the amount of motion you created in that, is amazing! It took me at least five minutes or more before I even noticed the sky, definitely inappropriate name! I don’t know if I’ll venture into selling art but for now I’m just doing it for myself and figuring out my own preferences and style. Thanks for all your great content!

Great advice! Thank you!

I’m so thankful this video was recommended. I’ve thought about some of these things from time to time, but everything came together through your delivery. Thank you! Also, I love that you said we don’t have to paint the same subject forever. I felt it might be forever and wasn’t so sure about staying there. You’ve given me the freedom needed. ❤

I love color! Bright and beautiful!
