I learned this in a local tech school class. We used the Vaseline. At home I dedicated a large, worn out brush for this. It works.

Thank you so much, Julia, for sharing this video of both your palette colors (& brands) and your "brush technique!" Zoe, you did an excellent job of filming this video - the angle of the camera was great! Julia, the tempo/speed of this video was "perfect!!!" to demonstrate your brush technique as well as the steps you follow from start to finish of a painting. I learned a lot from this video and really appreciate your sharing this information with us. I always look forward to watching your videos!

So glad to watch you paint while I’m stuck on bed rest. Love your videos, work, and personality. Many blessings to you and those you love.❤

Hi, watching from England, UK here. Many thanks for showing us all that 'how to...' short tutorials. Its great to watch and the one thing I'd like most is that you are as happy as the art you create. I'm glad I have found you and more power to you. A bit of me, I work as a Registered Nurse and I create art as a hobby but kind of lost at times. There are so many videos out there and can be confusing. Ive been watching you (quietly) and I feel that I finally found what I need to do when creating somwthing. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing your ‘gift’ with us. Every stroke is so creamy and delicious…even though you are moving the brush, the paint combinations decide to do their own little ‘dance’ across the canvas. Good job, Zoe, on the videoing…it really makes for an interesting video!

As a more realistic type painter, this is so cool to watch. I tend to approach my work with a lot of 'control', if that makes sense. And your approach is so much more loose and care free...I love how the paint does it's own thing and you don't really know what it will become and just being ok with that. That would be difficult for me, who wants all those realistic looking details, but definitely something I'll try one day, just to see what it'll do.
