People who saw this movie in theaters all say that when Rocky and Apollo were both trying to get up at the end, people in the theaters were on their feet, screaming at the screen and losing their minds, as if it were a real fight. Then when Rocky won, the theaters went ballistic, some people were crying, others were high five- ing and hugging complete strangers - an amazing moment.😊

The entire Rocky series paints one whole picture and it’s beautiful.

Adrian`s " Coma " scene was written in because Talia Shire/Adrian was contractually signed to another movie she was in, so she couldn`t be there half of the time. When she was done with the movie she was doing, they filmed her and Burt Young ( Paulie) at the house watching the fight. Her scene with Burt was put into the movie after the rest of the movie was already filmed. The movie company was able to get a local Junior High school to let the kids out early in order to film the montage with Stallone. There were about 700 kids that was in the shot.

This movie got me in the feels. Peoples theatre experince with this movie sound epic.

The world is a better place because we have ROCKY.

Can't wait for Rocky 3!!! I cry every time! I'm born and raised here in Philly, and every home Eagles game they show the hospital scene when Adrian says WIN. Then there's a montage with Rocky & Eagles players with the song playing to get us hyped. I tear up every then too. 🥊🥊💚

Every single time I hear the line "Yo Adrian, I did it!" I tear up, guaranteed.

The Poem is thee sweetest thing!!! ♥ "YO Adrian!  I did it!!!"  Probably Thee Greatest Sequel ever!

31:45, this was the most exciting memorable movie experience ever for me, I was 11 at the time, the whole movie theater jumped out of our seats n screaming get up!!! It was as if we were at a real boxing match.. I'll never forget it

In the original movie script, the man who was the Loan Shark  Rocky worked for was actually his older Half- Brother from his absentee father.  That's why he had an Affinity for Rocky and was helping him out financially in the first movie.

You were beaming through this whole movie. You had a huge smile just plastered on your face. This is why I like your reaction. You don’t hold nothing back you get involved in the story.

RIP Carl Weathers. Brutal to see him so young in this. So many Rocky films and they always seemed to find new ways to keep the legend going

28:10 I don’t know why but I love the way rocky acknowledges Apollo is great as he’s about to go out for round 2😂😂😂

Cami, the Rocky franchise is really a love story and literally "heart".  I'm sure you will enjoy your journey with various Stallone projects.  He's quite the storyteller.

This was one of the most successful sequels at the time grossing 200 million worldwide. Been to Philadelphia quite a few times and while one is there you just have to climb the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. There is also a statue of Rocky, which is a must see for all who visit Philly. Sylvester Stallone during the scenes of him running through the streets of Philly was accompanied by an estimated 800 schoolchildren. The Bill Conti soundtrack theme is a classic.

While getting in shape for the film, Stallone sustained a tear of his right pectoral muscle and had to undergo surgery to reattach the muscle. The ending film sequence has an interesting story behind it insofar as Adrian (Talia Shire). She was making another movie and couldn't be on set. So Stallone came up with the idea of having her watch the fight from home because of taking care of the new baby. Thus, her scenes were filmed on a different shooting schedule. Other standout performances are from Carl Weathers (Apollo Creed), Adrian's brother Paulie (Burt Young), and of course the legendary actor Burgess Meredith (Mickey).

The first time I saw this movie - I was somewhere in downtown Denver, CO - early 1977 as I recall - I think my car was getting fixed somewhere and I had time to kill so was just walking around - I was passing an old movie theater that just had one screen - saw the movie title - "Rocky" - up on the movie theater marquee - I had no idea what it was about - decided to check it out as I had the time to kill - it was a very old theater - with just one large screen - the theater was very loosely populated with about 30 people or so - oddly - mostly single females - which in hindsight now tracks - I sat down not knowing what to expect - the movie came on and I was immediately captivated - the opening boxing sequence was shot is such a unique cinematic style that was very different from what I was used to - the music just blew me away totally - the Rocky character was so old-school unique - I fell in love with the movie right away - and as it progressed - I became more and more infatuated with what I was seeing - I was also at a point in my life where I was getting a bit down on myself - so the underdog theme was hitting home for me - and then in the scene where Rocky comes home and lies down in the bed with Adrian and says "I just want to prove I weren't another bum from the neighborhood" - well - that just went straight to my heart - it instantly became my fav movie of all time - I went on to see the movie 7 more times in a theater within a few weeks of my first viewing - the second time was my all time fav time of seeing a movie in a theater - I was visiting with some relatives and friends over at relatives home a few days after the initial viewing - the subject of Rocky came up - I started raving about it so much that a bunch of us piled into two cars and went to the theater - the theater was packed for the showing - then - during the final fight scene you would have thought it was a real fight - people were jumping up out of their seats thrusting their fist in the air - cheering, screaming and going wild - the entire audience was so involved - so fully invested - I've never experienced anything in a movie theater to compare with it since that night - it WAS one very special and wonderful night . . . and each time I view the movie these many years gone by - It stills seems so fresh and special to me - it never gets old . . . Yo Adrian . . . I did it!!!

Best line?     "what are we waitin fer!!??"

The whole Rocky franchise is great! You need to watch them all.

The editor rocks....20:50 she says has he seen the baby after he said he wasn't going to see the baby until they both can and the next audio from the movie is Mickey saying "You know your brain ain't workin' so good." Props to the editor!!

Fantastic reaction Cami...I love this franchise and have seen each and every part multiple times, but watching this along with someone seeing it for the first time almost makes it feel like my first time again as well and you truly brought back those feelings for me and made it such a joy to watch again...thank you. xx ❤
