I went down stairs to show my mom a picture of the husband like "wow doesn't this look like your cousin andrew!" and she just went "that is cousin andrew." and this is how i found out my cousins family bought their house with wife swap tv money

Mom: My kid wouldn't even eat if I didn't bring him food because he's addicted to video games
Kid: Active and passionate about karate

You see, the computer mom had it the first half "You guys need to learn fun, not only competition"

She lost it at "No more trophies, we're taking those down, no more sports"

Basically drove down the correct highway but took the wrong exit

LMAO I love how Andrew was so shitty it saved the other couples' marriage just cause the other husband wasn't as bad

i like how 5 hours a day on the computer is like an insane amount of time then but now the average screen time is like 9 hours for most children

"My son would never..." are the favorite words of people whose son absolutely would

"I think your kids are pushovers. They don't know when to speak up and say no." HOLY SHIT That was actually such a raw fuckin line. Yes you need to guide your kid and help them be strong but it's not just about their offense against the world. He is raising them with no defense against the world and as such they are not prospering.

I feel like it's a rarity on Wife Swap where both of the wives have good points and seem to approach their swapped families with a little bit of nuance and good points on both sides, while both the dads are kind of just extremes.

My son has a speech impediment and everyone says “omg love his accent where r u guys from?” “St Paul…he just has a speech impediment” 😭😂

The sports mom is great. I actually really enjoy how she was gentle with the actual kid but then absolutely reamed that man-child

Title: “Cruelest Episode of Wife Swap Ever”
The episode: Genuine bonding between two families that turns out to quite possibly be the only truly mutually beneficial episode of the whole show

Tammy was so much more of a parent to the kid than his actual parents.
The other woman Lyn really only need to teach Tammy’s family to relax but Lyn needs to learn to do more as a parent.

It’s funny how they all had valid points at one point or another except for the video game husband 💀💀

Jayson saying "you're like a father to me" to his actual father is wild

I love how the show talks about Tammy at first like she's this cold, authoritarian mother and then the show starts and she's actually incredibly empathetic and caring.

I can not believe they made that kid miss his baseball game though. That's the one thing I really disliked about Lyn this episode and I really hope the show made her do that, and it wasn't actually her idea. She's trying to teach them to "have fun" by taking away that kids enjoyment.

I think coach mom is genuinely a good mom tho. Like she's even a role model, too. All she really needs to do is schedule in down time.

I did not expect the "life is a warzone" dad to be as chill as he was, he just went along with everything without question.

"Codys team lost by 27 points that day" 😅😅😅😅 that took me out

"If your child's not ready to go to battle, they're not gonna make it."
sir, if your kids aren't used to losing, they're not gonna make it.

You can really tell that this has some strong 2000s energy where being on a computer more than an hour a day was considered insane.
