Today we finally take a look at the highly requested spinoff of Wife Swap, Wife Swap UK. And it's somehow even worse.. I did not think that was possible. I had to split this episode into two viewings because it was.. it was a rough watch. Anyways enjoy this very uncomfortable episode of Wife Swap UK.

The fact that Brian can shout at Sharon so horribly, and he just met her is very concerning. He seems like a terrible, abusive person.

As someone who grew up in a verbally abusive household this “man” makes me want to throw up. This episode was so stressful.

He’ll call himself a house slave when asked to clean a single thing but demand someone to memorize where he shaves and vacuum it later. Jesus christ the irony and hypocrisy.

I’m pretty sure Sharon’s sons would wrap Brian up real quick for talking to their mom like that.

Uk wife swap hits different because American wife swap is like “we found a vegan family and made them swap with family who eats squirrels” where as British wife swap is like “we found a family with an abusive dad…”

If he's this bad on camera, imagine what he's like in private

@goldensloth7 2 years ago

well that was fuckin harrowing. i hope Karen got out. she and those kids shouldn't be anywhere near an abusive shit like that.

I bet Brian wont talk to a grown man like that

The reason why it feels so much worse when he curses is because every-time he do curses it's filled with targeted malice and ill-intention. He uses curses as expressions of hate. When people casually curse it's more for emphasis. Ironically, the way he's cursing is why cursing is considered "bad," because of the intent behind the usage.

That poor girl in the pink. You could see her tense and trying not to react while also trying to understand what he needs. Fucking traumatic.

Update on Brian. He was arrested for domestic violence towards Karen. Theyre divorced and he moved back to Kentucky

Edit: Thanks for all the likes

One house has an abuser, and another house has 2-3 kids acting like thugs.

As someone who actually was in the military, Brian acts like the one guy who failed out of boot camp… i’m definitely questioning his background 🤦🏻‍♀️

Dude thinks his wife is the problem when she got a bunch of troubled teenagers to respect her and he’s not even respected by his own kids, just feared. That’s the kind of parenting that has you dying in a hospice with no one at your funeral

The scene where Karen is talking about how she wants to show that she’s not lazy was actually heartbreaking

As someone who was * actually * in the military, I say this isn’t military behavior, it’s just piece of shit behavior.

Brian: abuses his kids live on camera
WifeSwap: quirky music plays while a plucky Bri'ish narrator talks about what we just saw like it was completely normal
