This is how I wish Square would handle their 8 and 16 bit remakes.

Oh wow, the pixel art in the remake is really good

If anyone is wondering what this tango project stuff is about. It's old natsume developers back together remaking some of their old games, and they are not missing a beat. They already remade Wild Guns, Ninja Warriors and Pocky and Rocky. And all of these are amazing, seriously they were made with so much care.

Knowing how much SNESDrunk loves Pocky and Rocky, this review made me genuinely happy for him.

This is how you make a proper modern remake of an old IP. Other companies should take notes, because this is how it's done.

i wish they would do this with Lufia 1 and 2

I had no idea this was being made. I'm definitely gonna buy this.
Especially if you can play co-op with friends online, that'd be fun as hell.

This is basically a look into the alternate world where games industry went in the direction i wish it had.

Man, Pocky and rocky was one of my favorite games that I sucked at as a child, I definitely never even came close to beating this game but I loved playing it.

3:56 Those are disc-shaped mirrors on wooden stands, the sacred mirrors seen in Shinto shrines, called “shinkyō”.

oh my god the Aikman praise for Mahomes at the end.  You're an absolute gem, Drunk.

The "Switch Drunk" theme at the top was really really nicely done

You keep cranking these videos out, I'll keep coming back to watch them...some, multiple times. Thanks again Drunk for great content

Well said: this is how a SNES remastered game should be!

I was so excited to play this game. Sat a friend down next to me and.... womp. Locking the multiplayer behind a wall was unforgivable. It should always be available from the get-go.

I bought a physical copy for myself and my sister a while back I like Pocky and Rocky it's such a cute game I remember playing The originals on emulator.

Pocky and Rocky was my childhood. I remember playing both part 1 and 2 of these games with my best friend. Amazing games

The real question is: Does Rocky pass the "Tanuki check"?

I had no idea this remake existed. Gotta try it out

This one just absolutely nails it! Really wish Konami, Capcom etc would do something similar. So many classic SNES games that deserve to get the full treatment, like Castlevania, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Axelay, Parodius, Ghouls n Ghosts, Mega Man, Super Aleste.
