BABYMETAL - Brand New Day (Live) | REACTION

Join us for a fun reaction reaction** to *BABYMETAL - Brand New Day* from their 2019 album METAL GALAXY (feat. Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson & Scott LePage)! We kept Ashley in the dark about who they are – no hints about the Japanese metal/J-pop fusion – and she was blown away by the insane choreography, high energy, catchy snaps, and genre-blending vibes. Perfect workout song energy with beautiful vocals and that signature BABYMETAL showmanship.
We loved the dancing, the light show, the rock-star presence, and the hilarious “Tanoshi” attempt… plus the adorable grandson cameo at the end! This is our latest stop on the BABYMETAL journey and we’re hooked. What’s your favorite BABYMETAL song? Drop it in the comments, smash like if you’re adding this to your playlist, and subscribe for more honest music reactions!

I don't think this is a love song so much as a song saying that if everything isn't working out one day, if it is raining or whatever, don't worry, tomorrow is a brand new day, it's all going to be OK.
In 2024 BABYMETAL hosted their own festival in Japan, Fox_Fest. One of the bands they invited to perform was Polyphia and on both nights of the festival Tim Henson and Scott LePage came back out to perform this song live with BABYMETAL - it was 5 years since they recorded the guitars for the studio/album version.
There is an official live video of the performance at Fox_Fest.
Last year Polyphia were featured once again on a track on BABYMETAL's album and it is almost a sequel to 'Brand New Day' called 'Sunset Kiss'. They have not played that live together yet, but BABYMETAL do have an official live video from the song's world debut at the O2 Arena in London from May last year.
Let Ashley know that they have bespoke choreography for every song, usually interpretive and, most importantly and where appropriate, aimed at involving and including the crowd, giving them their cue to jump, pump a fist, chant or sing along etc.
Oh yeah, cute baby cameo👶 and Puppymetal too.🐶
The band is call "Lovebites"
They all The Beautiful Queens Metal band right now in the earth.
They are really really World class musicians. Phenomenal.
And they have a lot die hard fans too.
The song is "Winds of Transylvania"
Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
Also, please check out Road of Resistance (Pia Arena MM 2023): To see their true power!
