The time has come. You've seen 3 Possums in a trench coat, but now prepare thyself for 4 owls in a trench coat. Pre order today: https://www.makeship.com/products/four-owls-in-a-trench-coat-plush

I hope this one will be a real hoot :3

I think being told that your dead husband was "in the way" is justification for a nut shot.
Edit: With the full story, I now believe he should be under the jail.

So Leigh and Barry essentially tried to pimp OP out to Liam. It’s the unholy trinity of a creep and his enablers

@weezlink4996 3 days ago

For that second story, if OP somehow got with Liam when she was tricked into a blind date with him, I know for a fact Liam would have despised the child if they were born, it would be a constant reminder of her late husband and would probably be neglected by him or even abused

I don't think someone who is willing to pounce two weeks after a person's spouse passing away and referring to said spouse as a "problem" would be the person I want raising their child.
Ugh.
....
It updated and I'm sad now.
I don't think a reddit story has pushed me to tears like that before.
The world is a dick sometimes. But at least she had the support to get through the worst

Story 2: "Now that your husband's dead, he's no longer a problem. You're being so emotional, it's not like we're going to have sex right away or anything!" EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW EW!!!! That guy is N A S T Y, and that so-called "friend" is no better! Holy crap!

Edit: Oh goodness. Poor OP. She didn't deserve any of that. That trio of... I don't know an insult grave enough to describe Leigh, Barry, and Liam. I wish OP peace and happiness for the rest of her days. After what they put her through, she deserves that and more.

All other things aside, blind dates need to be put in the same bucket as Quinceañeras, weddings, and colonoscopies. Making them a surprise rarely ends well.

"I asked Leigh to set us up now that Husband isn't a problem"
I would have stormed right the fuck out without another word.

"Don't know why their dog is named Spud"
I bet all questions will be answered if you see a puppy pic of that dog

1: I believe there's a special place in hell for parents that neglect their kids in favor of keeping up with the Kardashians

@PaleNoFace 3 days ago (edited)

I would have slapped Liam right then and there. Probably thrown a glass of water in his face for good measure. The GALL to tell a grieving widow that "now that Husband isn't a problem we can finally get to know each other". That's not only cringe, that's vile and cruel.

Edit : THAT ESCALATED HORRIFICALLY.

@KarmikCykle 3 days ago

I shudder to think what Liam would have done to OP if she had accepted a date. Because I don't put ANYTHING past him after hearing what actually did happen.

What the actual hell is wrong with those friends?! This reminds me of the one story where OP's "friends" lied about their partner and made them break up so one of their friends could get with OP.

I try to imagine if (gods forbid) I lost my boyfriend suddenly and weeks later, one of my friends tries hooking me up with someone else. I think that would break me, I could never trust another person again. I hope these people has the life they deserve for putting OP through such an emotional state, especially since she's pregnant.

Edit: absolutely fuck those people my god.

@MJameson76 3 days ago

Blind date: Two WEEKS‽ What monsters! BTW: OP would be NTA if she wasn’t ready to date years after her husband passed.

@Mario-SunshineGalaxy64 3 days ago (edited)

It’s blood boiling that in the end Leigh, Liam, and Barry got what they wanted, that if Liam couldn’t have OP then they made sure to take something precious from OP so she’ll never forget about them and destroyed one more piece OP had of her late husband. No amount of prison time will make up for what they did but I do hope they stay locked up for a long time. I also hope that the mutual friends that took their side never forget about the time they sided with people so bereft of decency and morality and goodness that they would harass and assault a pregnant woman out of spite. I wish nothing but the best for OP and her in-laws.

Story 2: Imagine being such a narcissist that you fully expect the woman who was constantly rejecting you to be jumping for joy at the chance to date you 2 weeks after her husband died. Didn’t even cross his mind that she could simply not be interested

@Mario-SunshineGalaxy64 3 days ago (edited)

She’s an influencer, just expose her, the only thing these “people” care about is image and reputation and getting exposed as a con artist that doesn’t care about her kids will damage that and hopefully shame her into not being a trash mother and poor excuse of a human being.
