Story 3: "I'm not racist babe, I'm just misogynistic."

@GloomyFish 2 days ago

"she kept asking questions that made me angry so i didn't answer. I guess that was my first bad move"
No dude, your first bad move was not moving on from Sarah. You had 10 years to get over it dude!

Story 2: the husband didn't even come to like OP. He just liked that she liked him

@ImmerGenau2624 2 days ago

Settling: what the commenters seem to be missing is that op isn’t actually leaving over the comment. She’s leaving over the stonewalling and dismissal of her feelings. And the fact that he’s showing just how little he cares about her feelings.

Oh and, you know, the CHEATING.

Story 1 is so funny: I just kicked a hornets’ nest, why are the hornets mad at me???

Parent here. I agree with Oz’s take on the last story. Most child abuse happens with people the parents know so putting up cameras is a good idea. But being sneaky about it, only putting them up for the brother, lying about your intentions, and then getting defensive and suspicious with no foundation is not a good way to go about it.

Story 1: I just find it crazy that his gf offers him the opportunity to go to the gym with her, and he doesn't even entertain it. It's so abundant that women are expected to work on themselves while dudes just sit and complain.

@banazir8645 2 days ago

I remember when my wife asked me what I'd change about her. My answer was something along the lines of:
- Nothing.
- Actually, I'd get rid of [painful health condition].
- Oh, and I'd give you the ability to materialize diamonds out of thin air.
- And also the ability to...
I then rabbit trailed into brainstorming all of the superpowers I'd give her.

Story 3: Is he... specifically dating black and/or asian women because they "age better"? He's clearly concerned enough about it...

Court case

If the DA was just using AI for case reference, that would be bad enough and should be immediate disbarred.

Fabricating claims from the guards to keep the person locked up is malicious and the DA should be arrested.

No, Oz, it's great for us that these horrible people share "their side" of the story. This guy is a LOSER! EDIT: I hope OP Amber uses this as evidence in the divorce. I love this so much!

@somebody4952 2 days ago

Story 1: Only a couple paragraphs in, and op has completely missed the point of the couples activity he saw. The two demonstrated love for each other by saying that they wouldn't change anything, and op was just like "I'll use this as an excuse to insult her"

@SoobySays 2 days ago

“Settling” husband sees women as things (to settle for, things that were robbed from him, etc.) and that’s why he was able to cheat and demand his wife stay in the first place. Things don’t have needs or feelings.

@hecklinjekyll3959 2 days ago

"Settled for her":

I, for one, am glad the husband posted. We can clearly see how heartless and stupid he is and now we know that he has no self-awareness.

@thefruitsong 2 days ago (edited)

That two dads story.
Dude started with the homophobia and tossed in some sexism and racism too. I'm glad he showed it now rather than 20 years down the road. I hope Op, Dad, and Appa have wonderful holidays and she learns her worth

@dingo-ringo-bingo 2 days ago (edited)

Story 2: just as OP said, her EX husband is actually BRAINDEAD

@theoneguyoverthere 2 days ago

14:56 Really telling how even now he paints a detailed, loving description of “Sarah’s” appearance that made him fall for her, but “Amber,” his future wife, just gets a few generic words.
