I yearn for well-written villains again.

There'll never be another Frollo

Him being the best Disney Villain is an understatement. For a good reason. Disney wouldn’t have the guts to do a villain like him again let alone topped.

My favorite part of Hellfire is when Frollo says, "God have mercy on me.".  The way his voice cracked, you can tell he knew he was risking his immortal soul for what he thought he needed in this world; only to immediately double down on his chosen course.  Chiling.

I’d say yes. He’s fleshed out in a way most other Disney villains (except Scar and Hades) aren’t, while most are cartoonishly evil or aren’t that much of a threat, Frollo easily proves to be the most depraved out of all of them.

Ah yes my favourite Disney Villain; Frollo is a very human evil that is rather accurate for the period the hunchback of Notra Dame: he knows on some level he’s a sinner but justifies his actions as ‘God’s will’ and blames his shortcoming on groups whom are in a lower social standing than he is. Also hellfire is my favorite Disney song bar none

The reason frollo is the best villain, and one of the best in ALL piece of media, movies, games, shows. Is because he is obsessed with being GOOD, he is not trying to be bad.
He is narcissistic to the bone, and he is relatable.
How many times dud you feel pride, being obsessed with a girl, or considering yourself a good person? Many times.
Frollo is relatable and THE BEST cause any of us could turn into him if we don't control our dark side.

What I love about Frollo is that he is no wizard, or super strong warrior, or anything fantastical at all... He's just a man in position of power. And that makes him real.

I cannot truly believe that you reached this point without ever see this masterpiece until now!

"Hell Fire" and "Be Prepared" really do stand neck and neck with each other as amazing villian songs, each encasing a different type of pride.

Frollo is such a well written villain and the performance and the voice was just perfect. He’s definitely one of my all time favorite villains for sure.

I find it funny when people say "Disney would never dare to make a villain like Frollo now"...
Not because it's wrong, but because it's an understatement.
I would rather say "Disney would never dare to make a villain like Frollo now AND never dared before", he's just unique.
If you know Walt Disney's (the man) rules, you can surely see he would have never let this Frollo be a thing.

Disney needs real villains like Frollo. By the end of 2028 they won’t be able to deny that villains do in fact exist anymore.

16:19 that was my favorite scene. When Frollo comes to visit Quasi… to talk. To inquire Esmerelda’s whereabouts

The animation for the opening chase sequence is so incredible.

What makes Frollo a solid villain is that he's realistic, like they are people in real life who act similar or just like him, especially men who harass, assault, stalk, and attempt to kill women whom they're lustfully obsessed with while also hating them for their ethnic background, as well as objectifying and fetishizing them. And there's nothing tragic, or misguided, or sympathetic about Frollo one but, not even his novel counterpart who went as far as sexually assaulting and attempted to rape Esmeralda, who was a teenager in the novel, whereas she's somewhere in her 20s in the Disney version. Even with Esmeralda being an adult in the Disney version, that doesn't make it any less creepy with Frollo lustfully obsessing over her and groping her in the Cathedral. In the Disney version, Frollo is old enough to be Esmeralda's father or grandfather. Ew. Also, if only Prince Demande from Sailor Moon (especially in the 90s anime and Crystal) was this pure evil and irredeemable as Frollo is.

Not even Scar could top Frollo in Disney standards.

Your videos are too underrated for this quality

Ah yes, the villain Disney made so that people would STOP siding with the villains.
Seriously villains like Jafar, Ursula, Captain Hook. They kept stealing the show and being the favorites. So they made Frollo specifically to be the most dastardly, ruthless, unlikeable bastard ever.

I'm so glad you dropped peak entertainment for us.
Honestly this was one of your most interesting videos in my opinion. The level of detail such a single character could have is insane. Can't wait to binge more of your videos
