I miss the days when Disney wasn't afraid to be scary.

He basically speedran the 7 deadly sins in 2 hours

If only Disney could reach this level of Writing again.

We need more villains like Frollo again more than ever

Man, Frollo's the evilest villain Disney ever created, he's so realistic.
Evil faeries, sea witches and talking lions don't exist in real life.
But sickos like Frollo are EVERYWHERE!

Quasi would have never been a “hunchback” if Frollo didn’t force him to ring the bells every day.  He grew strong and acrobatic from the bells, but it resulted in his body being deformed.

Remember, when Frollo saw him, he only saw his face…and condemned him at that point.

"It's not because he was such a horn dog although that was cringe" Clearly you've never been lusted after in a totally pervy I-Won't-Take-No-For-An-Answer way, or been groped/squashed up against on public transport/had your hair sniffed by a stranger before. It wasn't 'cringe' - That is such a boring, done-to-death way of phrasing it I cannot begin to articulate my frustration. Frollo's lust for Esmeralda - all whilst blaming HER for it - is one of the very things that makes him such a real villain. His accusing her of twisting the truth, "clouding the mind of impure thoughts" bs ... Need I go on???

He was unsettling because he was more human and realistic than many of the other villains. He was a man who became corrupted by power and thinking all his actions were right.

definitely one of the scariest disney villains

I kid you not, ever since I was a child I was scared of watching this film. Now that I'm older and I decided to watch it the other day, my mouth fell agape like 3 times. He just got progressively worse and I couldn’t believe how far Disney went with portraying his evil. But it was so refreshing

Frollo pretty much committed all the known deadly sins. Pride, wrath, and lust being the most obvious examples. Your theory about his jealousy of the Romani is a clear sign of Envy, but even if that wasn't the case, he declared that Esmerelda must be his and his alone, meaning he'd be envious of anyone who got in between him and her. His greed is evident in his obsession with control. His gluttony could be represented by his use of fire, which nearly consumed all of Paris. His Sloth is shown through his constant, cowardly, and childish refusal to take any accountability. To him, it's always everyone else's fault, even God's, but never Frollo's.

Phoebus isn't pronounced with a loud O but silent like Phoebe, so it's "fee-bus".

not only frollo was dark and scary but he also looked dark and scary.

My favorite Disney villain. Tony Jay was fantastic in the role. Then again, Hunchback is an underappreciated Disney film. Wish they had the balls to make something like this again.

Frollo has to be one of the most complicated greatest written villains of all time❗️❗️❗️❗️

“What happens when the person you believe yourself to be comes into conflict with the person your choices reveal you to be?” Is a rare character archetype

Frollo what makes him so evil is how he took over power to take over cruel and dirty and to the song in hellfire and to his actions are so pure cruel

"Pho-bus"

AI much?

I love this movie.

Frollo is the most frightening villain because he is the most realistic.
He isn't some supernatural being with great powers, he's a sadistic, religious freak and most people know someone just like him.

When famous was against frollo and when Phoebus found out what frollo was doing and why was Phoebus was in frollo s shadow why did Phoebus did not talk to one of the guards to take down frollo when frollo was trying to be so evil
