This guy is the Anthony Bourdain of drugs

Mom!!! Phineas is experimenting with psychedelics!!!

I spent a week in a tent about a half mile from a tiny Shipibo community of 80 people and this is the only video on the internet that accurately conveys how that experience felt, great job :)

This is the kind of video a major tv network would make with a huge crew and thousands of dollars. Your commitment to your work is awe inspiring.

when did bro become like an actual high effort journalist? this is cool

Man, I'm genuinely saying this, one of my favorite things to happen is when I discover a new youtuber who talks about really cool and interesting subjects and then I also found out that same youtuber has a full lenght docummentary/vlog

Holy fuck, that song didnt have to go THAT FUCKING HARD

I think i Speak for everyone here. If you make a longer video explaining more of what you left out we would watch it. all of this is wildly fascinating

Mushrooms 🍄 and Ayahuasca are the direct ticket to the universe! They added meaning to my life!!

what an excellent time to check youtube

Your brand of radical open-mindedness is a treat to watch

honestly, it's a wonder you didn't get malaria with that many mosquito bites

science, documentary, culture, jokes, tradition, scepticism, appreciation. this video is so well rounded

you aint yo regular gringo guy thanks for being kind to the tribes bro

When you were talking about doctors going to help the tribe, it reminded me when I was 11, my mom had just finished her residency to be a pediatrician, she went to Bolivia for about a month for Doctors Without Borders. She went to night school for like 6 months taking spanish to prepare for it, and it’s something I’m super proud of her for. At the end of it she flew my grandma and I down to Peru to spend a week in the Peruvian Amazon, and though it’s been almost 16 years since then, it’s still vividly in my mind to this day. I hope to visit again someday, and bring my daughter to experience the beauty of it.

This was the opposite of Christian missionaries. They go into a culture to try to change them, but you went into their culture to be changed by them.

For the love of god, please do another hour on this. I know you have the footage. This was unbelievably interesting.

I’ll stick with mushrooms

Thank you for respecting the family you did the story about. Props for being a better journalist than 95% of the major news companies.
