Q snapped his fingers, and suddenly he and Yoda were on the bridge of the Enterprise... "Jean Luc, you simply MUST meet this amazing creature!"

Q to Palpatine: "Such unlimited power, and you can't even fix your face?  No wonder you wear a hood!"
Q's final gift to the SW galaxy should have been a million mariachi bands joining the celebration of the Empire's fall!

Give it to Yoda to be the one creature that could give Q knowledge and punk him at the sametime

Yoda: "but with great power...."
Q: "....comes great responsibility. Yes, I've that that somewhere before"

I want to see spock and Yoda discuss the universe

I always saw Q as the Coyote. A being that teaches mortals proper moral judgements while they themselves are being naughty. As SJ tucker sang, "Coyote my friend together we'll spin many a tale by night, and teach man by our naughtiness what really should be right."

The Q in these illustrations looks like Norm Mcdonald🤣🤣

I would like to imagine that this took place somewhere around the middle of the TNG when Q seemed to suddenly go from a semi-evil trickster wreaking havoc on the Enterprise crew to an almost father like figure teaching Picard life lessons.

Palpatine: "If you only knew the POWER of the Dark Side!"
Q: snaps fingers, Palpatine materializes in the nearest sun.

This needs to be animated with DeLancie's voice

"He called me irrepressible. This man who was truly irrepressible. I only hope I make a worthy student"

Some people don't understand that Q is not only omnipotent.

Q is narratively immune, the character is often a critique of the audience and humanity itself.
He is a philosophical statement about power, consequences, life, mortality etc..

He is not just a plot point like many other gods depicted in fiction,

he's a commentary personified on the nature of existence.

Q doesn't get "humbled", he gets impressed when creatures can pass his tests or genuinely surprise him.

1:17:35 : when Yoda meets Q, is amazing. I kiss the pen of the writer!!!

You gotta respect Q. He is INFINITELY powerful, but he has such a laid back temper.

Damn Yoda is reading the  like a book 📚
Living the Q speechless Damn.
True wisdom.

Don't forget the use of Shakespeare with Picard and Q. What a piece of work is man.  "how noble in reason! how infinite in faculties! in form and moving, how express and admirable! in action how like an angel! in apprehension, how like a god!". Q, "Surely you don't see yourself that way"?

Master Yoda giving Q an education on what force is. Arrogance has its price. Q is now learning that lesson. If Q was human, he might make a decent Jedi.

I'd actually wanna see this come to life in live-action.

I loved how the story actually challenges Q, not by pitting him against something powerful, but by challenging him to resist his own worst tendencies.

And of course it would be Yoda that would help Q come to such an epiphany!

Amazing story!

Thank you!

Another idea - Babylon 5 meets Star Wars - the Vorlons side with the Rebels while the Shadows side with the Empire. Luke and Leia meet Sheridan and Delenn while Mr. Morden meets Palpatine and Vader. Death Stars I and II vs. the Vorlon planet killers.

I suspect Gnostic undertones...

With a slight Star Wars lean, I love both SW & ST. This was great...
