I've seen Capa open with e4, also. And my understanding is he never studied chess openings, whereas his opponents all had various openings memorized. And, of course, Capa vanquished them all. lol

I have always wanted to learn not just to play chess but to understand strategy and really understand the moves. You really explain the “why” or “why not” to make certain chess moves. That is what I want to learn and understand. Not just move pieces around. The cerebral part of chess is what I love the most. It is a challenge that I am going try to master everyday. Capablanca traveled to the future saw the Pegasus Opening and started using it to beat everyone.

José Raúl Capablanca, indeed the greatest chess player of all time! It's also important to say that it was a blindfold game of Capablanca. Even so, his brilliancy shined so bright as we are always expecting.

I swear sometimes I play like Capablanca other times I just play like myself

How is this different from the Colle-System?

I play this opening every time as the quickest way to develop bishops and Knights and to castle as early as possible.

So Pegasus System is basically the Colle-Zukertort opening ... but emphasizing early Nd2.... ⁉️
