Hey there, please check out my books. (Dark Romance/Thrillers) https://www.amazon.com/author/harperwren

what I think is the strangest thing about this all isn’t the misuse of glp1s, it’s the fact that women for some reason, are now expected to weigh the same as little girls.

The Irony, Demy took the subtance 😅

They really display a worrying, and extreme thinness — on a verge of colapse. In a sense, they are bodies that mirror the political situation in the U.S.

37:55 This is exactly why we talk about it. It’s not for Ariana, though I hope she gets treatment before it’s too late. It’s for the millions of girls comparing themselves to her and being lied to. Her body is not natural, healthy, or attainable. She is sick.

We have a woman who is severely in a mental illness of anorexia- and she is an “idol” in millions of people’s eyes- and she knows this. She is aware of how famous she is- which is all part of why this is such a severe problem. She is normalizing an emaciated body - lying to millions of people and the media and saying things like “she’s the healthiest she’s ever been”. So now she is telling millions of people that her emaciated underweight body that she flaunts is healthy. She is an influence to millions of people and she’s not taking accountability for that- she should want to be a healthy and positive role model.  Chest bones like hers do not show in someone who is nourished. You have to be in a severe deficit for bones to show in this way.  We are in a crisis of ozempic and weight loss obsession- and she is an idol who is leading this crisis and creating an image that being emaciated is healthy and fine and normal. And the photos and videos she is posting are BODY CHECKS. She is severely severely in her disease and addiction and she is getting HIGH from the attention of her emaciated body!!

Thank you for pointing out the hypocritical attitude these women have about flaunting their bodies, then shaming people for noticing. It's gross! No class at all.

the internet didn't decide anything
they noticed an undeniable reality

The addiction cycles of EDs are exactly the same as any drug addiction.  The obsessive thinking, measuring (do I have enough/did I eat or purge the right amount) and it morphs to accommodate your moods which will always be disregulated and the perceptions of the people around you.  So it may have begun because of bullying or to succumb to standards but as it the ED evolves in culture (or devolves) to include attention seeking for the purpose of sympathy, then what started as just trying to meet the standard involves this new element too.  And whether people believe in demons or not, you become possessed with this.  Call it what you will, but it happens.  I can remember measuring my thigh gap 20 times a day to see if it had changed.  Eating lunch that my boyfriend bought me (not to be rude or offend him--of course he was abusive as hell) and then straight to the restroom.  Day after day.  It didn't end until I was in my late 20s.  I hadn't seen my sister in several years and the way her jaw dropped when she saw me is seared in my memory.  Everyone told me there was something wrong, but you WILL not see it.

i’m disordered but this shit is too far, idk why they want to be THAT skinny, seeing all your tendons isn’t exactly appealing imo

Ugh I totally understand the frustration with America’s food. Even when it comes down to the fruits and vegetables, it often feels off like I’m not receiving the proper nutrients from a tomato or a watermelon like I should. I’m lowkey about to start growing my own food. And not lowkey, HIGH key

That's just it. These celebrities don't have to chase the next beauty standard. They ARE the beauty standard.

When women point out things like EDs or ANA they are called jealous. When men point out these things they are called mysoginistic. 🙄 The truth is that these issues are real.

10:52 common misconception. Yes, some people in the Victorian era were tight lacing, but corsets were basically just giant bras that helped to support the weight of the skirts that were fashionable at the time.

9:17 whoa, she's changed, alot. Demi Moore had such a unique look.

I love how Kate Winslet makes comments that “the industry USED TO BE Cut-Throat.. when she was younger. “—- GRL WHEN DID IT STOP?? “The industry” is just as nasty as ever, the difference is that NOW : (1, You are in a different tax bracket… and 2), You are now considered “royalty” ; a cherish’D and revered Hollywood A-LISTER … Which means NO MORE AUDITIONS, and means that (CURRENTLY) the only narrative that it’s safe to share about you is a positive one, in your favor.
…for everyone who doesn’t find themselves in such a position of privilege—- IT’S STILL CUT-THROAT. IT HAS NEVER STOPPED TEARING APART WOMEN’S BODIES.
What an out of touch performance of pretending to examine the culture (while benefiting from it).

It's like we skipped the "thin" face and dived head first into "heroin chic" 😢

I am battling daily nausea due to my medication so my appetite is barely there. I HATE the brain fog fainty feeling and don't have the slightest idea how these (mostly) women even function...
and it pisses me off because it's all designed to keep us oppressed. you cannot start a revolution when you can barely hold a fork. being strong and smart is worth more than anything to me and I hope young people realise that.

Before Wicked I thought Ariana was so beautiful and during the press tour of Wicked, I was shocked seeing how things she was. Now she looks worse.  I'm so concerned for her health.  Hollyweird is evil for making this the standard 😢

Ariana Grande moving the straps from over her shoulders during her recent performance as to show her collarbones was so sad
