I really don’t think Luke Skywalker was even in the sequels just because you call one character by the same name of another, doesn’t make them that character.

If there ever has been a more inept studio president to exist someone name them.  She is a narcissist that is incapable of self awareness or reflection that has no idea how much she ruined.  Flowers to Andor, Mando S1, S2 but good lord I would have preferred none of those existed to not know the SW franchise as it is now.  Filoni is the other half of this equation and his epic journey of failing upward to the point of completely changing an original IP into his live action cartoon KO characters is impressive.  This company will triple down on subpar talent but fire an actress in the middle of a hit tv show because of her opinion.

It’s sad how Kathleen Kennedy and Disney completely incinerated Star Wars, it’s embarrassed that Kathleen refuses to leave Star Wars a alone and move on but now she’s involved in the Star Wars: starfighter movie just to get back a little credibility in her producing career, what a horrible human being.

She was the head of Lucasfi Kennedyfilm for 14 yrs. BUT it took her only 2 - 3 yrs. to permanently and irreparably ruin what took Lucas and the fandom 30+ yrs. to build. Never forget and never forgive what the rat and the snake have destroyed for their own selfish and egotistical ends...

Having said that, the rat and the snake aren't the ONLY ones that are responsible for the complete ruination of STAR WARS. Enter the Prequel haters which were the ones M A I N L Y responsible for handing over STAR WARS to the rat and the snake on a silver platter. The ones that whined, moaned, cried and eventually bullied Lucas to sell off his creations to outsiders. Outsiders that they were warned, had absolutely no interest or intention in continuing Lucas's vision for STAR WARS.

If it wasn't for all the Prequel haters, whiners and compalainers IN THE FIRST PLACE, STAR WARS would still be in Lucas's hands and all would be as we remembered. All would be well and we probably would've gotten something so much better than what the rat and snake offered but, NO. No, Prequel haters thought outsiders would and could make STAR WARS "better!" than it's own creator and now, STAR WARS is ruined for the VAST MAJORITY of fans.

We all now see how that worked out and yet, those same Prequel haters who championed Di$ney and their "WAnnaBe War$" GARBAGE are now the very same ones that complain about the dismal state of the franchise/brand. The very same ones that ASSURED everyone that Di$ney would "NevAr!" ruin STAR WARS and mocked, ridiculed and even threatened those who did not accept Di$ney's "offerings" as good or legit STAR WARS. Well, you Prequel haters got your wish. STAR WARS is now in the hands of outsiders that wound up ruining and destroying it, just like it was predicted they'd do. Hope it was all worth your whining and crying to see STAR WARS become the trash pile it has since become, thanks to you all...

They know they failed at an epic level when Kathy and Lesley are constantly in the news running back to sweep up their garbage.

From the numerous interviews I've seen from George, whether it's from during his young days back in 70s and 80s, during the time of the Prequel Trilogy in the 2000s, or at cons and such, there is so much passion from him talking about Star Wars from it's themes, characters, mythology, and the stories he wanted to tell with it. Now, yes, granted, that doesn't mean every creative decision he did with Star Wars was the greatest, and there is more than enough fair criticism to level against him. But you're never gonna convince he didn't genuine love his creation. I never got this sense from Kathy whatsoever in all her years as president of Lucasfilm. Almost every interview from her was the most corpo passionless bulls**t ever when it came to when talking about Star Wars. I think it's more than evident to say that Kathy saw the franchise as nothing more but a platform for her and Disney overlords to platform their messaging and personal political beliefs onto. Member all that Force Is Female crap. It reminds me a lot with Alex Kurtzman with Star Trek, where he very clearly doesn't give a single f**k about the franchise or trying to honour Gene Roddenberry's legacy. I mean, he's pretty much turned the whole thing into a self-induced parody of itself. He just views it as a useful platform to push forward his and his corporate masters worldview through (which he even flat out admitted himself).

Question: How do you make a million dollars in Star Wars?
Answer: Start with 4 billion dollars!

Eloquently stated. ... I was cautiously optimistic in 2012 when George sold, given KK's previous resume. My enthusiasm was quickly revealed to be misplaced. Kathy is a terrible person.

George thought of her as a friend, or at least as someone he could trust professionally, to do right by his creation. ... Instead, Kathy's base nature shone through. The IP and fans have suffered.

I can't decide on her greatest achievement after taking over. Could be TFA, but I don't wanna overlook Indy 5 or Willow!

It is simple,  she has delusions  of grandeur

Time to celebrate Kathleen's monumental achievement of transforming Star Wars from a billionaire dollar IP to a million dollar IP. Congratulations. HERE HERE! FOR SHE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW! BRAVO!

They should have followed the pattern the EU set.  It is true canon.

Kathleen Kennedy: "Chaos? There has never been any chaos because we know exactly what the plan is."

Also Kathleen Kennedy: “I suppose there’s a bit of relief. These jobs are not easy and stepping into something like that that George [Lucas] had created was an incredible challenge.” So which is it, Kathleen? Was there any difficulties during your tenure as president or were there not any?

God, this woman can't stop lying, even if her life depended on it. But then again, I'm not surprised by this. Her attempts to break glass ceilings for women have only set feminism back by fifty years and helped reinforce gender stereotypes, like how woman and accountability go hand-in-hand like garlic to a vampire.

KK's tenure at Lucasfilm will go down in history as the biggest entertainment management failure ever.

I think the only way they could have done it this bad is because they had all the data and still chose to do the opposite.

5:43 we knew they screwed up with the first flash of Kylo's lightsaber

I like to point out in the interview she makes no mention of: Video Games, comics, cartoons, or books. Either that was made when George ran it or under her tenure. She doesn't consider them important and she only considers the streaming shows important because she was reduced to those after the sequel trilogy underperformed. The problem is Star Wars is a multimedia brand. It makes billions of dollars from more than just movies, but she is someone who likely doesn't understand that and wouldn't care if someone explained it to her. She is only after prestige, and what she considers prestigious is live action. The problem is that due to Hollywood actions over at least the last decade. Hollywood movies have lost the level of prestige in most peoples' eyes that they used to have. What matters to Younger Millennials/Zoomers/Gen Alpha is video games. They don't really care about her movies. They don't matter to them.

She took the job because she wanted to do her Indiana Jones movie, and prove she was better than George by making more Star Wars movies. "As who cares about quality, its Star Wars slap that label on anything and it sells!" Both she failed at but no one is allowed to say it professionally because how many connections she has in Hollywood.

What she claims as success had little to do with her. The Force Awakens has more to due with George's fame/infamy and the success of the MCU more than it does her involvement on any level. Andor from what I understand she was barely involved in. She was not involved in the First Season of Mandalorian and only became involved after it became a success. She is the one that order Baby Yoda back to Mando so they can keep him as merchandise. Even though it damaged the story and Boba Fett's image as they used him in a miniseries to do that.

What she was involved with was. Approving Johnson's first draft to go into production, so the only editing was done on set. Which was one of her project she has always ai she fully approved of. Solo which is probably the most involved she was on a project. Skelton Crew which her attempt at making a Goonies with Females to prove Spielberg wrong. The Acolyte which is the second project that she was fully satisfied with.

George probably hope she would come to him for help if she was confused; as they are supposedly friends. And if, not it not like there wasn't decades of materials to work off of. She just ignored both. Or you know, a company that is full of staff whose only job was to make and understand Star Wars. As it makes it more Heroic if she is overcoming challenges. Instead of the only obstacles she is facing is due to self sabotage.

Lucas was so close to Kennedy for those many years, and yet, for that entire time, was completely unaware of her unsavory intentions toward his prized franchise.  Until it was too late, and she took the opportunity to exercise her (unlimited) power in that perverted pursuit.  Hmm.  Gee…it’s almost like Kennedy was the literal embodiment of Palpatine to Lucas’ Jedi Council.  In some twisted reflection of his own creation, being weirdly imprinted on his (and thus our) actual reality.  Most interesting.😮🤔

What’s funny is they did use social media during the whole episode eight they used it to avoid all of the fan theories that people would’ve liked to become true and at least a little bit and they use it to avoid all of that to make the movie garbage

I am Force, hear me roar!
