Agree with you Lewis 👍🏻, analogue every time and it’s good your there to keep your old dad on the right path 😁👌🏻

Analogue  here. ! I came off the assembly line in 1950.  Lije cars simple to maintain. I drive 3 ton Toyota Dyna  88 mod  565 000 kms now  just did  two 3000 km trips and 12 000 kms on south coast.  She PURRS LIKE A KITTEN  cheers

Greetings from Canada! When I was a much younger man I traded in my Mazda RX-3 in for a brand new 1976 FIAT 124 Spyder. After we sorted all the paperwork the service manager came over and we had a talk.... he explained all the extra pollution  plumbing that was required to allow a legal sale, then broadly hinted that this could all go away and the engine (1800 cc dual overhead cam) could be re-tuned as necessary and I would have a more 'Italian road experience". 😎 I was in love and living in Calgary Alberta at the time.... such a nice car to tour through the Rockies in on a warm sunny summer day! I miss the old girl.... 😔  Loving your channel Al! It is bringing back floods of memories. Cheers!

I had one of those in 1989. now i know what was the top of knob was gone lol,

"to-to" BINGO!!

That is the nice thing about the west coast cars, no rust, It sure make them a lot easier to work on, and hanging a nice hardtop like those one is a game changer in the winter.

YEAH ANOTHER XMAS PRESENT FROM ROADTRIP REVIVALS...LOVE WATCHING YOUR CONTENT...TOP MAN AL

Yes, it's a shame about the cracked dashboard but a much better option than a heap of rust. This is a fine example.

My mon had one of those when I was born, then her sister got it and I remember it! Now they have a very nice 1967 example (last year for full metal bumpers in 🇨🇦)
It's a fun little roadster ❤

That's a nice example. I also have a US-spec MGB. I removed all the emissions junk and replaced the Stromberg with a set of SU`s. Much better. It looks like this MG was painted at some point because it lacks the typical American Siemarkers.

Didnt realise USA spec MGBs had a single carb.

The smog pump was pretty useless, and many of us remove them, but of course in California they are stricter on such modifications. The lower compression allowed for a better forgiveness for lower octane fuel. Great video, nice car, thanks for sharing.

Found your channel not too long ago. Been enjoying your content very much. Keep them coming. God bless. Cheers from Pennsylvania, USA.

At my age, I wish I could still get in and out of these. I might get in but getting out might be a spectacle! LOL Lots of good examples still available here in the states at reasonable prices with the caveat of "You're not as slim as you were in your youth" :face-green-smiling:

Incredibly tidy MGB, I have never seen one so immaculate underneath!  Lovely looking two hundred and five as well 👍
