THIS CAR IS NOW SOLD! After the video went out, to a viewer. Thanks everyone!! ❤

Free road tax ,Mot exempt, and cheap insurance, what's not to like.

Now that is a British classic.  👍

Geoff  you're now a member of the Grumpy Old Men society

I have bought and sold so many of these back in the day. My favourite spec is a BGT with a "webasto" type roof. So glad that you have discovered MGB. I could talk about them for hours I expect!

Lovely little machine from a time when cars were built to be enjoyed and loved.  A time before screens, electronic gizmos, and multiple recalls. Beautiful

A nice car and a fair price. E is 67. The colour is a later green, the early BRG was darker, but it suits it well. The wheels are also later Rostyles, it would have had steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. My anorak is green too.

Geoff you should buy the MGB and use it against the MacMaster for the next John O Groats to Lands End trip .
Imagine beating him in a 60 year old car.
That will really show had bad EV's are.

Use it daily except during the salting season, then park it up until some rain has washed it all away 😊😊😊😊😊

I've owned three MGB GT's and they are fantastic little cars.  One of them I used daily as I enjoyed it so much and only took it off the road when the salt was spread.  For a 5K asking price it seems like a belter. Buy it Geoff!!

I have owned my MGB since 1979 and have owned many many exotic cars. My MG is still my favourite go to car amongst a modest collection of fast classics…..great video, thank you very much for your continued support of real cars 😎🍷👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I’ve got a 72 BGT and love it, so much fun and always puts a smile on my face, cheap to insure, tax exempt and free in ULEZ zones…I do have a Volvo V60 as a daily driver but still prefer the MG. It has a soul

Growing up, these were everywhere in california. My older sister's boyfriend always had one and I thought they were so fast! Few years back I was working at an exotic car shop, lots of Porsches, the ferrari now and then, but my favorites were the two E type jags I did a lot of work on. Just a glorious driving car with a wonderful strong and amazing sounding I-6 engine!  But a '67 MGB BGT came in, it ran like crap and had so many problems. Another shop did a ton of work, but didn't know what they were doing. Moss motors supplied all the parts I needed to rebuild the carbs properly, new choke cable and gaskets, points wires and plugs and I spent a while going through it and making it right. The drive was what I remembered, they trundle along the road so nicely, but it wasn't as fast as I'd like to remember!  But overall, they're such a pleasant and fun car to drive, they go along nicely, feel and sound as a proper sports car should. It would have taken a bit of thinking if that customer wanted to sell it to me, being a desert car it had no rust and a lot of recent work, and would have been so fun. The customer came back after picking it up and thanked me for getting his little car right finally.

Bought an N reg(1975), chrome bumper o/d on the dash in 1978, drove it to Spain (Salou) and came back with it about three months later. Traded it in for a brand new one T reg (1978) rubber bumper o/d on the gearstick and drove it back to Salou when it was a week old. Good memories!!

Engine is 1798cc B-series with twin SU carburettors. Very torquey engine, also used in the Morris Marina 1.8. Back in 1990 I owned a Marina 1.8 estate which would beat a Fiesta XR2 away from the lights on a daily basis.

Ah - this takes me back - I was born in 1971 and my father had a maroon MGB GT when I was about 7 - think it was an early to mid 70s one - think he regretted having to part with it as I got older and too big to fit in back comfortably for long journeys. Lovely car that you can still get most bits for without too much trouble.

I had a ride in a Police MGB GT,   years ago from Ditchling to Brighton. My car had broken down and, in those days, it was not so easy to get things sorted out! Especially when you were hard up and didn't have bteakdown cover.

Absolute bargain at 5k looks like an unmolested example very rare 👌👌👌

Nice to see one with the original correct steering wheel for a change.

I have always wanted one since I saw a lady driving one in the village where I grew up in the 60s. She had a wicker basket in the back. I have the basket...
