Galactica is an incredible asset to Alton Towers. It is a gateway from junior / non-inverting coasters to something more. The harnesses (when the work) give a feeling of safety. If it goes there is nothing between Wickerman and the 'big' rides IMO. We need to remember that Towers is aimed at toddlers through adults and needs the spread.

I’m just happy that there is a lot more positivity about the park this year, hopefully this can stay for years to come

Someone spoke with Howard Ebison about the trommel tunnel in The Curse at Alton Manor, and he explained that the park had spent a significant amount of money over the winter trying to repair and improve it. However, it apparently broke again shortly after the work was completed
Howard described the trommel tunnel as a “mechanical nightmare” due to how difficult it is to keep running reliably. He also mentioned that the same issues apply to the trommel tunnel at Chessington as well.

I love the sound of Oblivion diving into the holem, it never comes across on video but in person you can just feel the energy and rumble as it goes through, definitely the scariest bit of watching off ride imo

Booked my trip to Scarefest in October! Can't wait! Nemesis Reborn, Wickerman, Oblivion and the Smiler are bucket list credits for me. It's like the most local park to me and still have never been after all these years haha.

im an autistic person from america who has had an interest / passion for alton towers since i was a kid / preteen, and seeing these is really awesome even if im far away. have an amazing time!!!

There was a video a while back of kids with water pistols, spraying milk on riders as Galatica went up the lift hill. Probably why that pathway is now closed off.

been a fan of this channel for a very long time- post 2019 kind of time and i just want to say how proud i am of the both of you two. Starting a family, continuing with the youtube grind... so incredible to see! keep it up guys xxx

Those aerial views from the Skyride are 😍

That music we never hear of the Alton Towers soundtrack is stunning on the sky lift. Well done for using that. ❤

No way, we made it into the video! 😂 We were actually filming a vlog too, so it was so cool to randomly cross paths with such a legend! 🙌

6:28 - People kept squirting riders on Galactica with water guns which may be why they've blocked it off lol

Oblivion is the best drop coaster ever and the Don't look down audio is back

Good to see you back at Alton Towers again.

Wow the views from the sky ride are spectacular, its truly a beautiful park

I'm very excited for that video 24:26

Hi guys! We recently visited Alton Towers and in the famous words of Charlotte 'we were not impressed'. The staff at the Corner Coffee were clearly not enjoying their jobs and the general customer service feel from park staff, was lacking. Our favourite bit of the day was riding The Curse at Alton Manor.
Looks like you had a good day out though!😊

Yeah I hope we don't see Daz Games panic back or I remeber the invitation they both weren't great glad they have not returned. Love that joke of Spinball whizzer whizzing in single rider made me laugh underated spinning coaster.

Another improvement made this year (not necessarily by alton towers themselves) is the addition of more public transport to the park. There is new X80 bus service that goes from Derby to Alton Towers via Uttoxeter and its incredible its about the same as parking and it leaves depending on park close. It's benefited me alot espicially. As I used to go about once a month but now im going about twice a week. Which is fantastic
