Bubba Ray Dudley/Bully Ray gave a really cold answer to a question regarding what advice he would have for recently released former WWE LFG talent. He basically said he had no advice, they sucked and he doesn't care about them anymore.

I respond by pointing out that the wrestling business has changed so seismically since Bubba broke into wrestling, that a lot of wrestling/WWE/NXT prospects don't get a fare shake in WWE because there is so much talent around, which is more an indictment on the business itself. Also, the "I'm old school, you must respect me while I treat you like sh*t" mentality is a little played out now, isn't it?

I’m someone who casually enjoyed wrestling growing up but gets a kick out of learning about the business. It really feels like a huge part of pro wrestling is pulling the ladder up behind you.

Wasn't the LFG season 1 "winner" an olympic gold medalist? They featured her on NXT like twice, then demoted her to Evolve, did nothing with her, now she's released. Utterly pointless.

I remember meeting him and Devon at a TNA event here in New York and letting him know that I was 34 years old in training to wrestle and wanted some advice on how to be a little more safe and just any advice they could give me on being safer and taking care of my body He looked me dead in my eyes, laughed in my face and said good luck Chump and then Devon looked at him shook his head and proceeded to give me some of the best advice ever but I remember sitting there afterwards thinking so low of myself. He’s not a good or nice person whatsoever.

Bubba was the same guy in season 1 who denied a handshake on camera bc he said he doesn’t want to get too close to these guys. So now he wants them to shake hands and be more polite?
