This is exactly what Shawn was talking about concerning Bret. He even stated it back in 2000. Bret will literally start talking shit about Shawn, go to him and apologize, and then go back and talk shit again. But his fanboys refuse to acknowledge his behavior. This is the exact reason Shawn didn’t like Bret back in the 90s, besides him being a huge mark for himself. Even Taker acknowledged that Bret is a mark for himself.

And people talk about Unreal exposing the business. Unfortunately our beloved pro wrestling has now becoming a bunch of old men bitching about each other on various podcasts. It's no different than what goes in in the staff canteen or smoke breaks at our own works

The Jake comments about Bret and Shawn were more recent than that. Its the last 2-3 years. Remember Cornette commenting on it on his podcast. His comments came off as bitter, just like Bret's comments about Jake this time. Jake didn't seem opposed to doing jobs. Also I disagree that he wasn't a big deal after 92. His debut in WCW was pretty hot, but the company fumbled his feud with Sting and he had heat with Watts. His WWF 96 comeback definitely felt like a big deal even if he wasn't in his peak condition. Again he showed there he was happy to do jobs.

To me it seems like jealousy from Bret. Probably pisses him off that HHH and Shawn are running the show now . Also Hogan passed the torch to Warrior, Yokozuna and the Rock .

Yeah I know it's let's have a pity party for Bret cause he's been through a lot but dude is insufferable and comes off two face continuing to trash guys he's made amends with.
