MH370 disappeared and its final path is uncertain.

The search has focused on the southern Indian Ocean.

This episode is about whether WSPR can add new information.

The WSPR approach makes two separate claims:

Claim 1: Aircraft affect WSPR measurements in a statistically detectable way.
Claim 2: Those effects contain enough spatial information to reconstruct an unknown aircraft trajectory.

That separation is essential. Claim 1 can be true while Claim 2 is false, or useful only under particular geometries.

The research programme is designed to find that out experimentally rather than assume it.

The key question is: Given only WSPR observations and an initial aircraft state distribution, how much information about an unknown aircraft trajectory can the WSPR network actually recover?
