A rite of passage for anyone watching the Abridged Series is discovering that the Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills was actually real.

You having your channel taken down is just giving you the authentic Team Four Star experience

21:34 Fun Fact: They made this joke before JoJo got popular

OK let me rephrase this: the joke was made before JoJo was meme material

Tattoo'd Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills was indeed a show

Thank Scott's husband for that joke

"We here at Team Four Star do not condone child violence.

...

We do, however, find it hilarious."

TOKUSENTAI TOKUSENTAI TOKUSENTAI

Don: Spends 10 mins shitting on Power Rangers

Also Don: "I've only watched like 1 episode."

Episode 20 is probably my favorite episode of the series.
Reacoome being a wrestler was a stroke of genius.
"CUZ THE NAME'S REACOOME! IT RHYMES WITH DOOM! AND YOU'RE GONNA BE HURTIN' ALL TOO SOON!"
Vegeta: "...Wrestling's fake."

For y'all who don't know. Frieza theme song is named "F" by "Maximum the Hormone"

“Sure is Zarbon in here”
I prefer “sure is Zarbon in this comment section”

Fun fact Frieza's ringtone is an actual song made by a Japanese punk metal band called Maximum the Hormone the song is simply called F it released in 2013. The song uses Frieza's acts of genocide and oppression as allegories for the oppression of Tibet by the Chinese Government, as well as the 1995 terrorist attacks carried out by the Aum Shinrikyo cult in Tokyo. The lyrics pay homage to Frieza and his primary military commanders and mercenaries, drawing parallels with modern and historical dictators. Akira Toriyama would later go on to credit this song for inspiring both the concept and title of the film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ it is featured in both a promotional trailer and in the film itself as an insert song.

Fun Fact: the Party Pooper song was a real thing Papa-hata used to sing to the family when they were being spicy.

24:55 Thank god for Takahata bro. Setting the record straight on the Canadian subtitles. And you know, helping create the series lol

Fun, obscure fact: the original English voice of Jeice from the Ocean dub, Scott McNeil, was the one who gave Jeice an accent, but it wasn’t Australian. It was, in fact, a Brummie accent. Only when the dub changed over to Funimation did Jeice gain his Australian accent…and then he gained a New Zealand accent for DBZ Kai.

I be will always praise Kaiser for raising the bar in episode 20. Nobody was editing like this back in the day, this episode blew me away when it first came out.

35:50 Fun Fact: During the commentary, they said that Taka said this line because his dad would say it to him. And when Taka told his dad that he said that, his dad just laugh.

1. I love that the Ginyus are among the few characters TFS didn't really change much at all. All they did was exagarate some aspects of their personalities & relationships to make the comedy more potent.

And its understandable. Why mess with perfection? Weird, but oddly wholesome for a literal death squad, perfection.

2. Guldo's ability is to stop time as long as he can hold his breath. And I love the unspoken joke of the psychic of the group being the most lost on what's going on lol

3. As its likely alredy been mentioned, The Ginyu Force are named after dairy products:

Ginyu is a pun on the word gyunyu , which is literally just the Japanese word for Milk

Burter/Bāta is a pun on the word Butter

Guldo/Gurudo is a pun on the Japanese word Yogurudo or Yogurt

Jeice/Jīsu is a pun on Cheese

Recoome/Rikūmu is an anagram of the word Kurīmu , which means Cream

Though if I recall from the Creator Commentary correctly, Lani and Kaiser said it was actually the guy who voices Recoome who REALLY wanted to go hard on the WWE style with him.

TRANSFORMERS BEAST WARS MENTIONED!

6:50 Alicia is right, Beast Wars was great.

Also the best season of Power Rangers was probably RPM
